So, what was everybody's favourite Ickes moment? I've gott give it to

'ICKES: I gather you do agree with the concept of "fair reflection" under our rules?

WEXLER: The concept of "fair reflection?" Mr. Ickes, you'll have to educate me on what the concept of "fair reflection" is?

CHAIR: We will turn to Ralph Dawson for the next question.

WEXLER: Did Mr. Ickes not respond?

ICKES: He chose not to speak further.'

In the context, it didn't even make sense to argue for fair reflection. Ickes was graspin

That was the beauty of it- he wanted it to be some heartbreaking soliloquy, he wanted it to be this Disney movie moment where everybody sees things his way.

And he got owned horribly.

After watching that all I can say is Harold Ickes is a scumbag and the Hillary supporters who kept interupting are absolute shit for brains.

I'm ashamed to be named Harold now :(

Who thought shouting "DENVER DENVER" would really help their cause? What total asshats.

Some great political theater. Even my non-political friends were fascinated the last hour or so. Congratulations to Hillary on her victories in Florida and Michigan!

I just realized that tomorow is PR and that Monday is a prime time to announce 20+ superdelegates, just enough that Montana or South Dakota pushes this over the top.

64/65 delegates away. The remaining primaries make up 86 and obama should get back 1/2 of them. So Obama needs roughly 22 supers :D
Way less than that.

With Obama's FL and MI supers added in DemConWatch says he only needs 64 now to hit 2117.

Aka only slightly more than 20 delegates farther than we were this morning. Not bad.

What? That is exactly what I said :/

What do you mean by "way less than that"?

Just donated another $50 to Obama. I suggest everyone donate what they can. Tonight is the deadline.

I should probably go ahead and donate another $25 or something tonight.

While I'm thrilled with today's results, I'm just worried there are too many Harold Ickes and Geraldine Ferraros out there who are going to twist every fucking lever between now and August and scorch every inch of earth they can and really create some bad feelings that can't be healed.

Hopefully Ickes outburst was just a last gasp of anger, as my girlfriend Suzanne Malveaux just said on CNN. <3

Meh. I was a Hillary supporter, but I hate how she ran the late portion of the campaign. I do think that the media gave Obama a free ride/ tongue bath and I'm extremely concerned that he won't hold up to forthcoming scrutiny. Here's hoping he does. I do think that because of the extraordinarily tight race that Obama should have offered Hillary VP as an olive branch to the wing of the Democratic party that supported her. I DON'T approve of Hillary supporters freaking out and going to Denver, but I will say that Obama supporters have been one of the most obnoxious groups of political supporters I've ever witnessed in American politics and that this has been a real turn off to people for whom Obama was not the first choice. I've always said I'll vote for whoever the Dem nominee is, so I'll vote Obama, but many of his supporters could stand to grow the fuck up.

I think you might have misspelled Hillary a few times there. :D

How exactly has he been given a free ride?

Here's hoping he does. I do think that because of the extraordinarily tight race that Obama should have offered Hillary VP as an olive branch to the wing of the Democratic party that supported her.

Why should he give Hillary the VP? She killed all her chances when she attacked him at every opportunity that she could.

Welcome to the fold, bitter or not. I think we can safely say from the way this has gone, Obama supporters are less obnoxious than Hillary supporters. Still, I'll join in the media tongue bath and soak Obama's four clits up. LICK LICK
