All those Big Oil company Execs want those Russia Sanctions lifted so badly, so Exxon can pump that oil through Crimea again.

Billions of dollars in dirty oil money on-hold for both Russia and all of those crooked GoP liars.

Their masters stand to make or lose a lot of money from this scandal. That's some of the motivation to turn a blind eye to all this.

It's becoming easier to just list who hasn't met/talked with Russia. It seems like too much to be a coincidence.

Wait, this is a SECOND lie in his confirmation hearing testimony. He also said in his answer to Franken that he was not aware of Trump campaign people meeting with Russians.

With Russia? They all had "off the record" meetings with the same Russian man, and no one can recall what was discussed. Flynn is out for lying to Pence about never having the discussion, and Sessions lied to the Senate about never having the discussion.

This is getting ridiculous. I wonder what will be the breaking point for the Republicans...what is it going to take to get them concerned enough for action. I am starting to wonder if the Russians have dirt on Republicans in Congress also. I can't find the news story at the moment but I vaguely remember reading that both parties were hacked, but only the Democrates' documents made it into the light.

Are we sure there's not a bunch of other people in Congress that have been inviting him to their bar mitzvah's and birthdays and bachelor parties?

The Republicans' "hack" was one weak attempt on a single email from someone who was an former employee.

Not really, it's probably intended to let people walk away with some measure of dignity now, rather than dramatically later. Don't forget if Democrats take Senate power next year they can have public hearings, subpoenas and so forth and embarrass and dismantle the current cabinet while also throwing all their decisions and actions between now and then in a net of suspicion. It can be seen as a long term pro-American people operation to ensure clean people are at the top and make decisions and there's no massive turmoil later.

The breaking point is going to be 2018 midterms, they wont do jack if people dont vote these clowns out of their seat.

Now JD Gordon says that Trump himself pushed for the GOP to soften its platform on Russia in Ukraine, at the RNC. Gordon also met Kislyak.

A presidential Candidate(at the time) colluding with a foreign power to gain election and repay the favor with beneficial policies would be both the biggest scandal and biggest disgrace of a sitting president. Frankly, I legitimately think its treason.
