What are the chances of this being Itsuno's new project? I'm kinda scared that there might not be a DMC5 and MvC4 might've been the project that Itsuno talked about back in the January.

It certainly is a possibility, but Itsuno, to my knowledge, hasn't been involved in a critical role with a fighter since CvS2. Plus, he has expressed interest in either doing a Rival Schools or a "new type of fighting game", which a new MvC really doesn't fit the bill.

Couple that with the likelihood that we're probably 1.5 years away from when a new DMC would likely materialize (give or take Sesha's last projections based off of the most recent Fiscal Report), and I don't see Itsuno having the time for MvC, too.

Well, if it's gonna be 2v2 a smaller roster than MvC3 is inevitable.

Either way, I thought we were finally done with the Inhumans... I still can't force myself to care about any of them but Ms. Marvel and Lockjaw. And I only care about Lockjaw because I love large dogs. That said, Groot might be interesting, and T'Challa might finally get his dues.

If the game really is 2v2, roster size is definitely going to be on the small size at launch.

Ha, before it turned out that MvC3 actually was a huge loveletter to the MvC2 scene in so many ways, I did not expect dat mango sentinel to return at all. Logan and Storm, sure, but the mass-produced robots from Days of Future Past? Ehhhhhhh

Still, I'm glad they were included, the early days of Vanilla MvC3 were hilarious with them around (plus they contributed to this moment)

The only Captain Marvel I want to see in a fighting game is Billy Batson, but you know they're adding in Carol.

The Ms. Marvel name now belongs to Kamala Khan, & the Captain Marvel name now belongs to Carol Danvers. I was also used to Billy Batson as Captain Marvel, but we all just have to adjust.

Marvel doesn't wan to give Fox free advertising. There's an X-Men/F4 video game ban that's been active since late 2014/early 2015.
