And what of the fellas in this thread, like myself, who have real a real girl(s)? You mean all along we were meant to be doing stuff with them?!Raguel said:It's not hard to stop looking at porn: find a real girl. I don't know about most guys, but holding a girl is much more arousing than any porn. I have never been more stimulated than when I'm with a girl I care about. Then you get to kiss her!! JOY! Who knows what might happen next??

Hmm... not entirely sure a lot of people's partners would be particularly happy with 90 days of abstaining from pretty much everything, and I can't say I could blame them either.Suairyu said:It's no porn, masturbation or orgasm for a reason - the real girl can't be your outlet either. It's a bastard-hard, 90 day reset of abstaining from pretty much everything.

RIGHT?!
Obviously people want a girlfriend/wife but they're not going to scatter their seed willy nilly.
Anyway I went 24 days without and could not go another day.
Spirit is willing but the body is weak.

Yes, yes I do.
His entourage and friends and acquaintances anyway.

It was bad.

Go deeper. Look at the forum and success stories. For a few guys, sex with their partners measurably hindered the process.Psychotext said:Edit - Just looked at the original link again, it says no porn (or masturbation if avoidable). Nothing about plain old sex.

...and for a lot of guys, no sex with their partners is going to measurably hinder the chances of staying with their partner.Suairyu said:For a few guys, sex with their partners measurably hindered the process.

What's "the process" anyway? You make it sound like there are clearly definable milestones.
That makes more sense. However, I still don't think it's particularly realistic for most people. The Incarnation said:Probably should of added because of the chaser effect that follows orgasm, that can lead one back into porn addiction

Ha, nothing so spiritual. Was trying to sort out some sex related groin pain I had been having... didn't help though so that was a frustrating 4 months for nothing.Sentry said:PS. 4 MONTHS!?!?? Jesus, were you becoming a monk or something? Longest i've gone is maybe several weeks. If I do go on without, my dreams sort of masturbate for me, forcibly.

They're goddamn rubbish. You're not missing out. I've only had one in my life and it was a real "wait, what?" moment.Psychotext said:Oddly enough, I've never had a wet dream in my life. Even when I went 4 months without sex or masturbation.
You're joking, right? Yeah girl, get that huge clit erection hard for me.Busty said:![]()
It's definitely something I'm aware off despite not experiencing such problems when 'in the field'.
I wonder if there is a female equivalent of this?
Psychotext said:No idea, doctors were useless. It did go away, but sadly it's recently come back... though not yet as bad as it was originally, yet. =/

Not that I'm aware of, no.bud said:do you have to pee a lot?

Lol I had my first wet dream this year at 25 years old. So, it can still happen!Psychotext said:Oddly enough, I've never had a wet dream in my life. Even when I went 4 months without sex or masturbation.

The English Conquistador said:Pretty much. This is just the equivalent of Jack Thompsons "Games make kids violent" shit, it's a bunch of nonsense. I've watched porn for years, looked at nude pics etc. I still operate at 100 percent in the bedroom, and if anything, I've learnt more about sex through the net with what works well, and how to perform etc, than any sex education or parent has taught me.
Porn does no automatically make you a socially disconnected wanking freak. It's a form of relieving stress and gaining pleasure, that's all.
Jesus...
bigben85 said:No. Maybe in your experience watching porns (masturbating to them) doesn't hinder your sexual performance with your wife. But that is just you. You =/= everyone.
In my experience, I watched a lot of porns all my life. For a long time I didn't have a sexual partner (read, GF), but when I finally had one, I had problem finishing in sex and in then end we always just stopped because I just seemed couldn't finish. I could perform with no issue though. I had the same issue with other woman as well (now my wife). I have been told that if I stop masturbating (specifically to porns), it will greatly help. well, I will let you know if that helps![]()

Quitting can therefore be quite challenging. In addition to an alarming temporary drop in libido, some men experience withdrawal symptoms: insomnia, irritability, panic, despair, concentration problems, and even flu-like symptoms.
