Porn-Induced Sexual Dysfunction

That's because you were super-stimulated by the novelty of it. No-one with even the most tragic case of porn-induced sexual dysfunction would fail at a threesome (unless they did a lot of threesomes, of course).

.

It's not hard to stop looking at porn: find a real girl. I don't know about most guys, but holding a girl is much more arousing than any porn. I have never been more stimulated than when I'm with a girl I care about. Then you get to kiss her!! JOY! Who knows what might happen next??

And what of the fellas in this thread, like myself, who have real a real girl(s)? You mean all along we were meant to be doing stuff with them?!

It's no porn, masturbation or orgasm for a reason - the real girl can't be your outlet either. It's a bastard-hard, 90 day reset of abstaining from pretty much everything.

A relationship, courtship, marriage, lack of sex, then you're back to porn again cause your wife is always tired or whatever.

Hmm... not entirely sure a lot of people's partners would be particularly happy with 90 days of abstaining from pretty much everything, and I can't say I could blame them either.

Especially given the 91st day sex is likely to last all of 90 seconds. ;)

Edit - Just looked at the original link again, it says no porn (or masturbation if avoidable). Nothing about plain old sex.

Hopefully we'll masturbate to porn together.

Raguel's post was a joke right?
RIGHT?!

Obviously people want a girlfriend/wife but they're not going to scatter their seed willy nilly.

Anyway I went 24 days without and could not go another day.
Spirit is willing but the body is weak.

What do they mean no porn? What qualifies as pornography? Is it specifically people having sex, a picture of a naked person, does the person have to be doing something provocative in the image or is it anything you find sexually stimulating? Reason why I'm asking such seemingly inane questions is because it seems like the entire crux of this argument rests on the assumption that young men are looking at extreme porn very frequently which reduces their sensitivity to real life stimulation. I'm okay with someone making that argument but the problem I have is I'm not sure what qualifies as, "porn," in the first place. I mean if a girl I find attractive posts a provocative image of herself (exposing her cleavage showing off her curves and whatnot) on Facebook that gets me aroused, does that mean I'm looking at pornography? The physiological effect on the body is the same as me watching two people having sex if I am indeed getting aroused, is it not?

Consequently, if I stopped looking at porn, I'd never use Google Chrome's Incognito mode ever again.

Go deeper. Look at the forum and success stories. For a few guys, sex with their partners measurably hindered the process.

...and for a lot of guys, no sex with their partners is going to measurably hinder the chances of staying with their partner. ;)

What's "the process" anyway? You make it sound like there are clearly definable milestones.

Probably should of added because of the chaser effect that follows orgasm, that can lead one back into porn addiction, because they haven't reached homeostasis yet.

You'd save yourself having to reply to dumbfucks trying to be funny.

1. Masturbation
2. Partner
3. ????
4. PROFIT!

That makes more sense. However, I still don't think it's particularly realistic for most people.

I can understand trying it that way if having sex is meaning you end up looking at porn again, but I don't think it's sensible for that to be the first way someone tries. That aside, the "results" here seem to be about solving sexual dysfunction (erectile / ejaculatory)... which I'd guess is already somewhat improved if you're managing to have fulfilling sex with your partner.

Didn't know where to post this, but I actually had a double wet dream last night. I'm not one to masturbate a lot, but ever since my MacBook charger died, I have no access to my 'collection'.

Not a big deal, but it's been like a week and no problem other than getting turned on a bit easier. Last night I went to sleep, then woke up hours later from a wet dream with a sticky crotch. I'm so fucking sleepy, I get a new pair of boxer briefs and clean myself off and change, then fall right back to sleep... I wake up AGAIN a few hours later from a weird wet dream (i fucked a dildo where the non-head end was a vagina??), and my new pair is really loaded and nasty, I get up and change once again. What the fuck do I do? I then woke up with a woody too, with the urge to jerk but I decided against it.

Will I be dealing with this every night until I get my porn back? I don't know what I would have done if I was not sleeping alone in my room/house.

Oddly enough, I've never had a wet dream in my life. Even when I went 4 months without sex or masturbation.

In a strange way I feel like I've missed out on something. lol

Yeah, it's like a super vivid lucid dream. I still remember every detail even now, unlike normal dream.

I HATE them though because I force myself awake right after, pretty much like 'ok it's time to wake up from this dream, you just jizzed yourself irl'. Then it's hard to go back to sleep sometimes..

It's especially bad if you're in your teens, sleeping over at friends house, with family, or what have you.

PS. 4 MONTHS!?!?? Jesus, were you becoming a monk or something? Longest i've gone is maybe several weeks. If I do go on without, my dreams sort of masturbate for me, forcibly.

Ha, nothing so spiritual. Was trying to sort out some sex related groin pain I had been having... didn't help though so that was a frustrating 4 months for nothing. :p

what was it and did it end up going away?

No idea, doctors were useless. It did go away, but sadly it's recently come back... though not yet as bad as it was originally, yet. =/

They're goddamn rubbish. You're not missing out. I've only had one in my life and it was a real "wait, what?" moment.

In the dream, I was sitting on a deck chair at the top of a cliff. A strong wind picked up and the deck chair (and me) went off the cliff edge into free fall. A voice opened up from the heavens and said ominously "it is poetry is motion!" and then I came, woke up and just sat in confused disbelief about the whole thing for a few minutes.

On the plus side, that dream made sure I never experimented with LSD. I figured if my brain could do that without drugs, it'd probably put me in a mental institution with the drugs.

It's definitely something I'm aware off despite not experiencing such problems when 'in the field'.

I wonder if there is a female equivalent of this?
You're joking, right? Yeah girl, get that huge clit erection hard for me.

Not so
Much.

Performance anxiety is in the man's realm only.

Insert Tab A into Slot B. There is more pressure to produce Tab A than there is to produce Slot B. Producing Slot B requires only to lay down.

do you have to pee a lot?

oh ok, haha. a friend of mine had that groin issue and he had to pee a lot, too. turns out it had to do with his pelvic floor being overactive. or something.

Most people with porn addiction (severe cases) don't even find real women attractive/can't get turned on by them. That's why most people who are already in relationships where porn addiction is involved have problems.

Been abstaining as well and my libido is pretty much nothing. Kind of crazy. We'll see if things get back to normal soon.

Lol I had my first wet dream this year at 25 years old. So, it can still happen!

I always wondered what the fuck my friends were going on about in high school about these 'wet dreams', because I never had them. Always woke up horny as fuck, but never a 'wet dream'.

However, I feel like I achieved something actually having it happen to me at 25 years old lol.

It was kind of cool, I was like "uh... whaa? fuck yes..." I really wanted to tell someone. Always thought I was weird that I never had wet dreams.

Don't. Wet dreams suck real hard.

I start having them after 4-5 days without jerking it, without fail, and I hate them. Because I live with my parents, wet dreams are the one reason that prevents me from doing the 90-day thing.

Instead, I'm trying to at least reduce the frequency though. I've gone from daily to twice a week, and I'm trying for once right now. It's not really tough, I'm busy and I've largely lost the urge to watch porn. It also helps that I've seen some positive signs IRL. The idea is that by getting my body used to a lower frequency, it might allow me to go longer than if I went cold immediately.

Can't tell if joking....

Males are not the only ones with performance anxiety.... and there's a lot more to it for females than just lying down....

God, please be joking.

Pretty much. This is just the equivalent of Jack Thompsons "Games make kids violent" shit, it's a bunch of nonsense. I've watched porn for years, looked at nude pics etc. I still operate at 100 percent in the bedroom, and if anything, I've learnt more about sex through the net with what works well, and how to perform etc, than any sex education or parent has taught me.

Porn does no automatically make you a socially disconnected wanking freak. It's a form of relieving stress and gaining pleasure, that's all.

Jesus...

No. Maybe in your experience watching porns (masturbating to them) doesn't hinder your sexual performance with your wife. But that is just you. You =/= everyone.

In my experience, I watched a lot of porns all my life. For a long time I didn't have a sexual partner (read, GF), but when I finally had one, I had problem finishing in sex and in then end we always just stopped because I just seemed couldn't finish. I could perform with no issue though. I had the same issue with other woman as well (now my wife). I have been told that if I stop masturbating (specifically to porns), it will greatly help. well, I will let you know if that helps:)

Have sex in room with porn playing. Problem solved.

Quitting can therefore be quite challenging. In addition to an alarming temporary drop in libido, some men experience withdrawal symptoms: insomnia, irritability, panic, despair, concentration problems, and even flu-like symptoms.

thats sounds AWESOME.
I'm gonna try it
