Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
No poll as the choices are too varied.

But mine is an easy one.

For a recap of everything announced:

The Witcher 4......aka next version of Unreal with the CDPR plugin.

Res Eve 9.
Clockwork Revolution.
Plagues Tale Resonance.
Atomic Heart/The Cube.
Nioh 3.
Keeper.
Onimusha.
Fate End.

Whichever releases soonest....then the nextone takes its place.

Final Fantasy Tactics. Not being able to play on ps or steam i had to bust out the vita last year. If not counting remasters, then its definitely RE9.

As far as new announcements go Mudang.

Otherwise I'm mainly interested in:

Death Stranding 2
Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound
Stranger than Heaven
Pragmata
Wuchang

I'll say RE9 and SHf too although I've been burned too many times to be truly optimistic about either of them.

If we only talk about games shown off in one of the shows:
It's a tie between

and

But if we are speaking in general, my most anticipated game of them all is Archaelund. (It's been updated since these two videos were uploaded.

Probably Ninja Gaiden 4.
Latest trailer looks great and I'm really looking forward to what Platinum and Team Ninja can accomplish working together.

Definitely Battlefield - the GOAT/my favorite multiplayer of all time (just edging out Halo multiplayer which I love as well)

I'm really looking forward to Arc Raiders but need to see if they fix stuttering and performance issues as well as how they handle loot resets, etc..

Also...
Death Stranding
Broken Arrow
Anno117
Ghost of Yotei
Outer Worlds
Dying Light

Crimson Desert

ill. Hope it is as good as it looks.

RE9 if they go back to what made RE4 great.
i ll never understand the appeal of RE4, i know that the game is the pinnacle of over the solder action games BUT, as a RE game is boring as hell, its not scary and has 0 survival element like 5 and 6... as an action game is great.

  1. Ghost of Yotei*
  2. Persona 4
  3. Final Fantasy Tactics
  4. Lumines Arise
  5. Onimusha Way of the Sword
  6. Marvel Tokon
  7. Metal Gear Solid Delta
  8. 007 First Light
  9. Everybody's Golf Hot Shots
  10. Ninja Gaiden Ragebound
Notes

  • Ghost of Yotei wasn't really shown so I feel like this is a massive caveat, but it is my most anticipated game of the year and I'm looking forward to the July State of Play. Ghost of Tsushima was one of my top 5 games of the generation last generation.

  • I've been waiting for Persona 4 remake for the last two years. P5 is in my top 5 all time RPGs. I bought P4G on Steam on sale in June 2020, but didn't get around to playing it until 2022, but wasn't enjoying playing on my PC, it then came out on PSN, so I bought it there but there was no cross save progression so I didn't play it much because the beginning is a bit of a chore, shortly after that P3 Reload was announced and I figured I'd wait until P4 was remade.

  • I never finished FFT back in the day. I don't remember if I had rented it or borrowed it from a friend, but I know I didn't have the time to finish it. I think I played a bit of FFT Advance, but also didn't finish it. It was one of my favorite tactics RPGs along with Arc the Lad and Disgaea. I won't drop 50 bucks for this and I won't play it day 1 since it comes out so closely to Ghost of Yotei.

  • Lumines was one of my favorite games of all time on PSP and in general, it would be higher on the list but I have the original and still enjoy playing that version. This is just a nice to have.

  • Onimusha was one of the first PS2 games that really got me going with PS2. Really looking forward to this and how Capcom modernizes the franchise, but I have a lot of questions about it. Disappointed in the horrible dub, will play subbed but maybe not day 1.
  • Marvel Tokon looks great. I'm not that into fighting games anymore and don't love the simplified control schemes, but I might give this a shot and see if I get back into fighting games.

  • I never really gave MGS3 a chance. I enjoyed MGS2 but didn't love not continuing as the Solid Snake I grew to love in MGS1. I didn't like the direction the franchise was going in, so I dropped out. I bought MGS4 a few times but never really played it much and never played MGS5. Not a Day One game for me, but definitely on my radar.

  • The game looks AA, but it looks like it could be okay. Not in love with the art direction or the voice acting/dialogue, but it'll be on my radar. Have always been a fan of Bond.
  • Disappointed that this doesn't seem to have VR and that ClapHanz isn't involved. Would love to know what happened between Sony and ClapHanz, but I am happy that the franchise might live on. This franchise has been a favorite of mine since I played a demo of HGS2? On PS1.

  • Ninja Gaiden ragebound I'm actually more likely to buy than Hot Shots or 007, but I won't buy it day one. I'd wait for this on PS+ if I ever get PS+ again.
