How many times did Trump say he agreed with Hillary?

You should never say that in a Presidential Debate. Really makes you look weak.

It doesn't though and that's the issue with why shit doesnt get done in Congress. Kasich I believe said recently that it doesn't matter if you're democrat or republican, the fact that you can't agree with another due to party lines is just counter productive.

I was thinking back on this in the morning and how awkward and funny the last moments were.

One kid inappropriately screamed "I LOVE YOU DONALD TRUMP" into the awkward silence of the stage post-debate and so a bunch of Hillary supporters in a panic decided they needed to answer with "...HILLARYYYYYYYYYYYYY." And then the room returned to dead silence.

It's like the cherry on top of the sundae.

Man it's still surreal.

-Trump Lied
-When called out, Trump lied about his lies
-Admitted to Tax evasion
-Admitted to taking advantage of an economic crisis, insulted the country with 'It was good business'
-Agreed with Hillary on various points, making his own points seem weak
-Admitted he only cares for himself and his family
And many people think he won. It's surreal.

What a terrible way of thinking.

No, it actual smart. Why spend time in the debate repeating what your opponent said if you agree? Point out where one agrees, then spend remaining time elaborating your policies.

It was one of Trump's few (shocking) high points.

Watching a second time. There is a YUGE shift in the tone of the debate as soon as the taxes are brought up. That's pretty much where it flies off the rails for Trump. Sad!

Trump went back in on Machado today saying she was a "problem. A big problem." And took jabs at Holt.

Yeah, he's about done. And he can't even debate prep after making excuses as to why Hilary was prepared. He's going to find a way to skip the next debate.

It seriously blows my mind that anybody's saying "both are just as bad".

He can't skip the next debate, people will call him a coward and that will make him mad.

I'm sure Rosie O'Donnell is pretty happy that his ancient grudge with her was invoked, by him alone, on the stage of the first Presidential debate, making him look like an unhinged petty lunatic in front of 100 million viewers.

Dude/gal it's not like it has been 3 hours or say 24 hours since I made the comment?

In any event, I think if you're aiming for a liberal or conservative SC rather than simply aiming to know the final interpretation to settle a dispute, then it appears that way. Furthermore, I'm not saying it's not important. It's a very important issue.

I'm saying I can understand why the ideological views of appointments or say what the political leaning of the overall court would be over 20 years doesn't necessarily weigh up to other factors that concern and affect the lives of many. Do the benefits and costs of those final legal interpretations match up or exceed things like safety and the economy? I don't think they do and perhaps that's why the polling data disappoints people who think the court should matter more in the eyes of voters or be the overriding factor to vote Democrat or Republican.

I was way too snippy in that post, I'm sorry for that.

The fact that the Supreme Court nominations rank so low in that poll makes little sense to me. The only reasonable explanations that I can think of is that the people polled lack understanding in regard to how much power the Court wields or just aren't thinking too far ahead. Political leanings are extremely important when it comes to the Court because the Court's decisions on social cases, like Obergefell v. Hodges, affect millions of lives. The rulings of the Supreme Court have a huge impact that extends far beyond civil rights, as well. For example, had the Citizens United case gone differently, our political landscape would likely look completely different. The Court's decisions can have huge impacts on the economy, our country's national security, our health care policies, and the social and political statuses of minorities and immigrants, all of which ranked higher on that poll's survey.

Just finished watching it all.

What a fucking imbecile. How the hell did it even get to this. Pointless incoherent rambling, massive lies, not even addressing the question or the topic at hand.

I don't care if Clinton did well or not (she was okay). She could take a shit on the moderator's table and it still wouldn't be half as dumb as this asshole. He has no redeemable qualities whatsoever.

I can't tell if this is a joke. So she was behind in the debate polls? And you legitimately think it's due to reddit?
She was behind in open online reader polls, which are basically worthless and non-representative because the majority of people who respond are directed there from other sites. They're also incredibly susceptible to bots and scripts.

In actual polls, we've only had a few, all of which had more people saying Clinton won.

Hillary is destroying Trump is proper, scientific polls and focus group testing. Trump is beating her in open online polls where a bunch of Russians voted, using bots, to pump up Trump's numbers.

The only polls that are available the day after are Internet polls that are easily influenced and corrupted. They're all non-scientific and don't really offer much in the way of insight due to how easily they can be manipulated. And Trump supporters on reddit and other places were actively working to get people to spam the polls, so we know that the information they provide is garbage.

Lol. Trump's people rig online polls, which makes Donald believe his shit worked at the debate, which will make him double down on the crazy in the next one.

Inadvertently sabotaging their own guy because he's a simple-minded, impressionable buffoon. It's almost too beautiful.
Ohhh I like this.

Online polls tend to be brigaded (as in one group makes a concentrated effort to skew the polls) or botted. r/the_donald was actively doing the former in multiple polls, for example, though other places were doing the same thing.

It's going to take a few days before we get proper polls that aren't influenced by outside forces or quick rushes to judgement.

These online polls have approval ratings for Trump that would make Stalin blush.

Ya think they're compromised???

I'm still bummed when Trump was sniffling Hillary didn't grab her oversized grandma purse and dig out a ricola from the bottom of it and offer it to him.

Ohhh I like this.

Even better, the polls from established sources using established scientific methods can handwaved away as "MSM" bias.

That said, I get the feeling deep down even trump knows she got him. So it really depends how detached from reality he really is and how much is it an act because he knows, at least with his base, it works.

You really don't remember Bernie fans doing literally the exact same thing? They all mass-voted in online polls to show Bernie winning by insane margins immediately after every debate, and the real polls released several days later would tell a much different story.

she's ahead in every debate poll that has an actual random sample that's at least somewhat representative of debate watchers and which has actual scientific methodology (i.e., their findings are worth something)

he's ahead in polls with zero restrictions on selection where you can literally vote a hundred times by entering incognito mode in your browser (i.e., they're shitty garbage worse than my posts)

You don't say "I agree" though. You take the issue and make it your own, possibly building on what was said but re-framing it and adding to it.

He said "I agree" with her 9 times in a positive way for Clinton (11 if you count when he said she has tons of experience, then to add "of the bad kind").

Rush Limbaugh had a longwinded explanation today about how Trump's mic was positioned weirdly and caught his breathing which everyone interpreted as sniffles. Of course, Rush knows this cuz he's a "broadcast expert." I think conservatives LOVE nonsensical ramblings as explanations. There's something there I think.

I think we all kind of wished Lester or Hillary would have said "Hope Donald gets well soon" at the end as a subtle rebuttal to his health conspiracies

For online polls yea, you can see screenshots on r/the_donald linking to polls and telling people to skew them.

I wonder if online polls will no longer be used for future debates if this becomes a huge problem. I would imagine having a text in to vote feature might be better but then people can also just find ways to have multiple cellphone numbers vote in
