That's unfortunate, it wasn't when I posted it, probably got a telling off from SMS!.
Physics looked really good......

Yeah, I don't think they allow material to be posted yet since it's got a ton of bugs and looks kinda ass. I've only tried the build 0002 and I don't think FFB even worked so I don't know how good it really is, but at least some people with actual rallycross experience have said it already feels quite good though definitely needs a ton of work. That's unfortunate, it wasn't when I posted it, probably got a telling off from SMS!.

I don't know Shift but it feels as reastically like any other car in pCARS. Good implementation.Nice. Does it drive similar to something from pCARS or something from Shift?
Now out on PS4.
Can anyone confirm if bluetooth keyboards work?
The full game is currently $3 (Digital) for PS4 on Amazon via a price error Wario64 Tweet

Took those '90s stock cars to Hockenheim ring. 25 cars. Tried to keep it clean, but there was a little rubbing in that first lap. Hard not to bump someone or get bumped. Car is tough to control with the DS4.
Any comments yet re PS4 patch 2.0?
Works as intended?
* Improvements to AI navigation to lessen collisions during cramped race starts, improve detection of other cars during cornering, and improve clean overtaking
* Performance optimisation pass done on: Brands Hatch layouts, Cadwell layouts, Oulton Park layouts, Bathurst, Azure circuit, and Zolder. This helps improve the overall smoothness when racing on these tracks with large grids of cars.
Yep.So this 2.0 is the 1.7gb patch im d/l now?
After a very troubled launch, SMS got things right.
2.0 makes the game enjoyable for me, finally.
I need to know this as well if anyone has a PS4 and Bluetooth keyboard if they could try and let us know it would be great, I want to go buy one now but need to know 1st.
what changes have made it playable?, to be honest, it was eminently playable prior to 2.0 for me......
Nice, I wasn't expecting bluetooth to work as I couldn't remember if it used the same API on the console. There is a list (just started) on the PCars forum > http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?34275-Keyboard-compatibility-Share-your-experience
In short though, some do work, some don't.
My Logitech K400r bluetooth keyboard works like a charm, as does using the DS4 alongside the wheel.
Happy days, Fonzie!
Would have liked even louder tyre scrub sound, but so far patch 2.0 is ace.
No.Random question, but does the game support those old Logitech wheels on PS4?
Of course! So you can map commands like seat adjustments etc to that keyboard?
Too bad. Then again, it was only 3 bucks.
Of course!
It's not the game, the ps4 doesn't support them. They lack a security chip that checks in with the hardware. So it's just never happening.Random question, but does the game support those old Logitech wheels on PS4? Or are there any plans to add support with the G29 coming?
This game is phenomenal. It's getting to the stage it should have been at for launch now, but even in this current form it's still head and shoulders above its peers. There's certainly no better serious racing game on consoles.
I thought Logitech was going to release drivers for at least the g27 at the same time as the g29's release? It's not the game, the ps4 doesn't support them. They lack a security chip that checks in with the hardware. So it's just never happening.
Anticipate turns and brake early and downshift with very much care. Toe-heel if you know how to. You should try to exit the corner with full grip and acceleration on slower corners. Don't be afraid to drift a little bit when you push it on fast corners.Any tips for the Ford Escort? I've had to dial the AI back to 60 from 90 to keep up - they seem to have way more grip than me.

It still has a good share of problems and bugs, but the core experience has always been exceptional. I guess people have different opinions, but I don't understand people that focuses sooooo much in the bugs (as annoying as they can be), when the core experience is unmatched in consoles (and even on PC, to an extent). This game is phenomenal. It's one of the few cars you actually want some lift off oversteer on, as it tends to understeer like a pig on corner entry.
You need to drive it into the corner, kick the back end out a bit, point it at the apex and fire it out, although it's also a bit wild on the rear end on corner exit, due to the live rear axle and old style tyres so you need to watch your throttle control too.
Once you've got your head around it, it's a lot of fun to drive, but it's really different from most other cars.
Thanks for the tips. It feels like this car punishes my mistakes more than some others. My career at the moment has me mixing up the Escort with races in the M1 Procar, which lets you get away with all sorts of bad habits!
I think it catches a few people out, because it's pretty unassuming to look at, and relatively low powered, but it'll bite your arm off if you try and push it too hard.
I've got a few setups I did when I did the Mk1 invitation championship if that helps?, what track/s?
You also need fuel to go back to garage. Unless the game finishes before you do it so. If you run out of fuel while being controlled by the AI on your way back home, you'll be DQ.Lol. Ran out of fuel just before the final hairpin at Spa at the end of a long MP race. Had just enough momentum to get on the downslope and roll down the hill and over the finish line. Got passed by all the bastards I'd spent all race carefully overtaking. My fuel strategy was almost perfect, but I didn't factor in a spin at the top of Eau Rouge. The extra fuel it took to reverse and get going again was my downfall.
Had to laugh.
That's what I thought, but as soon as I crossed the finish line the AI took control, pulled over and parked on the grass. I still finished last with no DNF or DQ. Weird! You also need fuel to go back to garage. Unless the game finishes before you do it so. If you run out of fuel while being controlled by the AI on your way back home, you'll be DQ.
Odd. I've gotten DQ because of that. Maybe it's been changed? Maybe yet another bug? xDThat's what I thought, but as soon as I crossed the finish line the AI took control, pulled over and parked on the grass. I still finished last with no DNF or DQ. Weird!
