Haha Blitz is worthless and so is SCEA, good thing I got my last couple years of Plus at big discount from that Target mistake gaf people were selling and the subs that were going on eBay after E3 for cheap.
 
What the hell, I want RE5!

I'm guessing since Europe has quite a few of our games in the pipeline, we'll start seeing titles like Resi 5 soon. Thing is, I was about to buy Resi 5 finally but waited against it.
 
Subbed at E3, resubbed in September, and I am now wondering why I even bothered. If I was in the EU it would be different. Really hope they unfuck themselves soon.
 
Whoaaaaaaa, Bulletstorm AND RE5?!

I've had both of those games in physical form but sold them (actually, I have no idea where my RE5 went...) and would really enjoy giving them another go.

I guess I may renew at some point for these, I loved Bulletstorm and RE5 was really good until I misplaced it.
 
And once again the Euro store got the superior update, while we once again got the short end of the stick. Seriously, who thought that making a sport title free was a good idea?

With our luck maybe next week we'll end up getting NBA Live 13.

So uh. how do I even contact Kaz or Yoshida? Seems like people like to comment on the twitter with them. I'm surprised that no one complained about lack of SCEA's 'enthusiasm'.

All the DLCs, AFAIK. As in, the Lost in Nightmare and Desperate Escape episodes, the costume packs, and the multiplayer modes.

Well, the segregation between difference SCE regions is one of the biggest problems with Playstation if you ask me, and that's their fault. When things are organized like this someone is always bound to get the short end of the stick.

Just wait for next week people, 2 IGC games are going down on US PS+ so we'll get 2 new games.

Yeah, it seems it's the game of the month.
Europe got Hell Yeah and US NFL Blitz.
Both are getting 3 games this month, judging on expiring dates.
 
Nothing for me this month. My sub ran out yesterday, so will just wait till another good haul comes around. Though I have 2 freebies I didn't get round to playing either.
 
I had a subscription back when they first introduced the service. If I renew now, will I get back the free games I had then, or will they be gone from my download list?
 
Is it me, or does this version of Blitz kinda suck? I don't much play sports video games for the last gen or two, but this feels way off compared to what I recall from the Midway titles...'specially the arcade games.

I meant borderlands... before they take it down. Man having EU ps+ can mean a wickid large digital game collection if you can play the games past their months.

I thought it was a promotional give and take. But If I got Red dead for as long as I have +, I get to rent a game until i'm done with it or the service basically.
 
if you knew the difference in the content and services between US and EU neither of you would want the EU PSN.

the only good thing with EU PSN is PSN +. The rest is total shit and abysmal compared to US PSN.
 
Can't wait to find out what is being announced next week. I am kinda glad we got NFL Blitz though. I also happen to be jealous of Bulletstorm, etc.
 
Bought my first card for EU PSN. Managed to get some of the old stuff that is about to expire.

Very much looking forward to this excellent value! The one thing I am jealous of, with regard to the US catalogue is "the walking dead".
 
I cancelled my PS+ last month for lack of content. I'm not renewing it unless there is a bombshell dropped for new games that EU line up is ridiculous. I fell for the twitter hype before E3 and wasn't all that impressed besides Just Cause 2, that was worth it.

Sorry for the total moon question....

I've never had ps+ before. If I sign up and download a game, is it mine forever or can I no longer play it when that game leaves the line up?

If you download a game for free, you keep it as long as you are subscribed.

If you BUY a game with a PS+ discount, you will keep it forever.

Or he plays a lot of games. Some people who buy/play a lot have probably played almost all the retail games + has provided at one point or another.

I don't consider that I play a lot of games but I had already played Just Cause, LBP2, Infamous, Borderlands already of the retail ones in the US. Out of the EU lineup, I have also already played Darksiders, RDR, Deus Ex. Recent Steam sales saw some of these go for just a few bucks, so a lot of people would have already played them.

So my biggest value in PSN+ is in the PSN games and some of the retail games, and the other small convenience details. Plus in getting rid of disc copies and having on demand versions available. I picked up and played a lot more LBP2 again after getting the digital version vs. swapping out the old disc. I will do the same with RDR MP if we get it in the US.
