Hey I'm gonna try it, hell I got Fersis on my Friend's List, so a couple of matches with him will be delightful

Just saying, some people really do like to get good games with easy to medium trophies

Also, just went to 3 different boards for KOF

Most say the Online portion is horrible, Netcode = Good Luck...

So you will have bitching either way

EU got RE5 Gold + Bulletstorm, we get a tough Fighter, which requires a fuck ton of practice + skill to even get mediocre over time, shitty netcode on top of that

The digital version is DLC, the disc version is standalone IIRC.
 
Good, I was really waiting to see the mid-october update to renew my plus subscription and I'm pleased with the KOFXIII been added to the list.

Give EU Retail Titles and new PSN games released for "free"
NA gets busted games

Most of the NA games given out so far have been grindy, glitchy, community non-existent, online not up to date

I would rather NA PS+ get Rogue Warrior than KOF

Rock of Ages... Broken Online
Warhammer... Community Dead


At least try to get games that aren't broken

Go read up on the Netcode situation

If you really think trophies don't affect communities, they really do

Great KOF will reach certain people that would never invest in it, but how many are going to stick around, after getting DC'ed or get mauled by high leveled experienced players
 
Seems like they're going a little heavy on the brawler/fighter genre lately. Would it kill them to give us a few third person action/adventure games?

But this is gonna bring in an influx of newbies that have never played before. The parity the first week or so won't be as bad as it would be if someone who just picked up the game two weeks ago. People that get competitive shooters for Xmas don't give up after getting thrust into the experience that others have had for weeks. I buy almost every major fighting game and not one has an "easy" 100%

That does make a huge difference

A DS3 can't replicate that

At least in COD you have a fucking chance
You can get kills, contribute to the team

Fighters are mostly solo experiences
Hell I got MvsC3 just for the nostalgia factor, enjoyed my time, there was always a chance of you succeeding
Mortal Kombat same thing
Tekken which is hella easy, but so frustrating when the only people you play now are true experienced players, that shit really sours your experience
Same goes for Street Fighter & Mortal Kombat

This isn't the Oh Look he's salty from losing, it's fighting games require time + skill + practice

Do you really think a person who has never picked up KOF will magically pull combos out of his ass and win?
At least Shooter give you some gratification, that you have a chance

You do know there's pros that play with dualshock, right? Stop bitching because they didn't give you another 2/10 difficulty plat, this game is fucking good.
 
There are way more ps+ users than people that bought this game. A minority will be using fighting sticks. KOF, IMO, is pretty controller friendly. I own this on XBOX and I look forward to the influx of players. Maybe the net code will be better now that there is more than a handful of players playing.

How come the same service in a different region is getting spectacular releases with a mindset of making their consumers feel good with said service, by covering all bases

Just cause you enjoy fighters, others don't... shocking I know

Some games thrive off it, some get fucked over it

Once the people who mostly bought PS+ to up their e-peen or casuals who don't want to be frustrated or burden with really tough games sees what the reviews, hours, difficulty are for this game

They will avoid it like the plague


Shit look @ Warhammer decent fucking games, the community is a handful

The community should be thriving, it requires decent time spent to become a good player, most just didn't want to play it

Bleh, a fighting game. I like watching other people play fighting games more so than playing them myself. Still considering getting an EU account. May wait to see what they announce next week. :/

A good update for a change. Nice, SCEA.

Too bad there won't be a discount for Retro City Rampage, though. Guess I won't pick that up anytime soon.
 
bleh at blitz, suffice to say I already deleted it from the HDD. Even the N64 version was better.
don't have high hopes for KOF, but I'll give it a chance....I hope we eventually get hell yeah free over here
 
King of Fighters XIII looked good at EVO, and I'm somewhat of a fighting game enthusiast, so I'm eager to give this game a whirl.

This is so sad. I've never played the game so I don't know if it's good or not, but you saying that it's bad solely because it has hard trophies is, no offence, messed up. I can't believe gaming has gone this down-hill.

You play games the way you like it, I'll play them the way I like it
