They're up to like r5324 or something now in the SVN.I downloaded PCSX2 0.9.8 (r4600) a few days ago and had to manually do this.

EDIT: I'm not familiar with this kind of stuff. I guess the SVN builds have this...

Yep, r4600 is over a year old
The June 22nd build didn't have the HW hacks option. I have 2 other pcsx2 versions installed so maybe it's a SW conflict. They're up to like r5324 or something now in the SVN.
You can force enable that in the ini you knowThe June 22nd build didn't have the HW hacks option. I have 2 other pcsx2 versions installed so maybe it's a SW conflict.
I haven't really been keeping up with PCSX2. Are they still updating it and increasing compatibility?
Did they try to fix the mess you get in the woods in Silmeria?
It's only 2 minutes long and you can either blaze through it or switch to Software mode to handle it.
But they did fix the vertical lines seen in the cutscenes of VP2. It's just the SkipDraw that needs to be set to 1.
Huh, that's good. Do you think it would work for Tekken Tag Tournament as well?
Check the load of the GPU and see if it's oversaturated in moments of slowdown.my specs: i5 750 @ 2.8ghz, Radeon 5670, 8GB RAM
pcsx settings: MTVU on. speed hacks = preset (balanced)
Played xenosaga 3 on DX11 settings at mostly native 2x for about 7 hours. Barring the fps drops in menus (which seem to be a common issue on ATI cards), I get 60fps most of the time, but sometimes in the heavier spots I get dips down to around 45fps. Sometimes I can bring the fps back to 60 by switching back to native res or using DX11 software instead, but I hear people with lower PC specs can run it at 60fps constantly. Would love to hear from anyone who has a better idea for settings.
the 45fps situations wouldnt bother me so much if it didnt affect the sound so much that every character sounds like a retard
actually the odd thing is, even when I OC'ed my CPU to 3.8ghz, the fps dont see an increase at all. And I thought my vid card should be more than enough to handle this, or maybe I'm wrong?
Am I reading this right? Are they now officially on v1.0.0?You can track progress here

They usually have at least a few commits daily
As do I. I don't know what causes it though.I just started using this but I have some strange line going across the bottom and right side of the screen while in fullscreen mode.

The game used to choke my GTX460. I verified load peaks with Nvidia Inspector. CPU was never maxed in stall moments. It seemed that certain games on PCSX2 are very GPU dependent/limited. Tried ZoE2 again after upgrading to a GTX680 recently and it's able to keep up, very playable with 5x Native.
Do you really need that much horsepower to properly emulate a PS2 game in HD? That's kind of discouraging.
Most games run fine with a mid tier GPU. ZoE2 is a special case, it's very GPU depended with all its transparency and crazy particle FX.Do you really need that much horsepower to properly emulate a PS2 game in HD? That's kind of discouraging.

Can someone please fiddle around with the first Tekken Tag Tournament and tell me how it does look to him/her? The 1200x2000 res trick removes the vertical lines but the game looks like ass, not sharp at all.
Hey guys, I was thinking of trying to play and patch Final Fantasy XII International and play it in PCSX2, does it have any bugs or need specific settings?
