Just do a search for Final Fantasy and you'll see it. It has a FINAL FANTASY in English with kanji at the end. I'd type what it looks like for you but the PC I'm on isn't IME enabled D:

I just read a longer article on it. And it seems it has tons of licensed real life brand clothing in it. I dont think brands and designers would have allowed all their stuff in there for free.

Its a niche program, not an everyone thing. Although the make your own designs feature is mighty cool. Maybe some of the better designs can make their way into Home?
 
The EA space looks really cool. Can't wait to see what Capcom, Ubisoft, Square and other devs/pubs do. I'm actually pretty damn excited about the SFIV Home space

It has nothing to do with home.

It is for dressing a separate avatar in the game only. The avatars apparently can be given exact human dimensions (so I guess you see what you would look like, or a model or client would look like).

It seems to be slightly targeted towards designers, or buyers for stores or clients, as it has a ton of real life brands and brand name clothing, and every conceivable type of fabric texture and color for each product along with the logo editor. It is far more in depth than I have ever seen a clothing customization system go.

There is also a runway show type thing in it apparently.

So no, it has nothing to do with Home, it is its own separate program with its own separate purpose. I always wondered if designers had software that does this, and I guess some of them do.

Worst part is, even they're using "It's just a BETA" excuse.

I don't know if EA actually made the complex or if it was outsourced to SCEE to make like FC2, but EA have literally out shone the whole of these guys working there.

Japan also has the same space, with a Famitsu office behind the glass. I wonder what they're going to exhibit on the US server.

not even new. If you read the message of the day it says it's from Japan. So they are only moving it over. Nothing wrong with that.

This is a good move though. I like the cafe. You have to keep in mind that's the cafe shell without decorations.
 
For a company currently stressing how software should be their focus moving forward, surely HOME must represent nothing but a massive embarrassment on that front.

Theres literally no reason why all of the spaces aren't in each region's Home (EU's vacuum is particularly absurd) and theres seemingly no progress with the whole things point as a Game Launcher and game related trophies. Watch Killzone 2 come out with no launching or Home trophies. Its got that pre-order costume though, but still.

Its hard to believe how much of a clusterfuck this project has been.
 
Are they ever bringing back voice chat and texting on public places? The whole point of Home is to socialize, how can we do that if we can't chat with each other stupid ass Sony.

This. Actually I don't like that you cannot walk around while watching a movie in the EU theater but yeah the US theater needs to be multi-screen.

fired it up for the first time the other day. so why do some people appear as ghosts in Home? are they idle or something? also I've seen some people on a ledge or railing that can't be walked onto... how did they get there without a jump button?

They arent ghost, the server id downloading the character. And the walking on a ledge or railings is that the game is full of glitches and people have found a way to get there. Youtube it and youll find how

You probably messed up some privacy settings. Unless by text, you mean something other than the chat bubbles that come out of people.

I don't think so because I don't see anybody chatting on the US servers anymore, they used to but not anymore, now whenever I press triangle nothing happens, if I go to EU or JP servers then I press triangle and can easily type something.

It's already there in NA.....

And you can blame Sony for this thread slowing down, there's so much they could do and they're fucking everything up. They could revamp that whole Plaza or at least add some checkers and chess tables there, the movie theater needs to be multi scene like JP or EU, etc... Let us chat with each other at least.
