Damn, seems like all of our worries and concerns are still to come. Hopefully what I am saying turns out to be far too dramatic and we will all be okay :)

oh ok because i just thought the official sony store in berlin might get some shelf units but thats a bit far away from mannheim. Well anyway - did you try calling all the little game stores? (Just look them up via google / gelbeseiten)

Just bit the bullet on this, gave Game a call and they said they'll put my pre-order money to a voucher. Guess i'll use that to buy a PS+ card

just got back from game - think I'm just gonna stick the mega bundle @ £430 - just picked up AC skull edition for £48 from tesco and will get a vertical stand on the day (depending on looks game version is £7 and official £17)
 
Forget console wars; contintent wars are here to stay :P And even though I'm from Europe, 'Murica sure has better theme song.

Could I PM you (or could you PM me) in couple of days, when you check around some of the Mannheim stores? I'm thinking of traveling to Germany to try and get PS4 on launch day, and since I was planning to go to Hockenheim, Mannheim isn't far away, so it'd be great if someone from around there could tell me where to get PS4 if you haven't preordered it.

PS4, when are you coming?! I can't waiting! Fortunately, next week Xbox One will be here. Xbox One + PS4 an amazing november!
 
FIFA 14 has been sent and I should receive Monday / Tuesday. I'm paying £10 for the ghosts upgrade and I'm going for killzone just to look at it. I'm not using any of the wires coming packed with the ps4 I'll just remove my ps3 from where it's sitting and replace it with the ps4.
 
It's only been a day and I'm struggling to deal with not having a PS4 yet.

Even worse is there's a good chance I will be waiting well into December, since I'm a phase 2 scrub. My local GAME may have one for me, but I believe they are handing them out to phase 2 pre-orders on a first come, first serve basis, and I'm not going to any midnight launch. Fuck that.

Getting a solus Amazon.co.uk PS4, along with NFS, Madden and BF4.

Going to be careful specially with the HDMI port. Hope we see a 1.51 update out before the 29th.

Will buy a Pulse headset once BT headset compatibility is introduced.
 
My order from Amazon UK still doesn't have an estimated delivery date yet but I tried going into the Delivery options to see if it had any more info there. With free 1st day it says the 30th November and Expedited says the 29th.

I decided to change it back to free in the end, I'm too stingy to pay four quid for delivery!

I think you might get lucky in stores like Real and Kaufhof. At least it's worth asking them since from my impression people in Mannheim don't really go there that much for electronics. Checking the smaller cities in the Rhein-Necker Region might also be helpful.

Will get digital KZ when i receive it.

I saw the Jimmy fallon play room video and i am sorry i did not get the bundle with the camera instead, my kids would have enjoyed it.
 
I'm here in support of all my Euro brothers. I'm from PR, but we get everything the same date/way as the US.

If it's any consolation to you guys, I got my PS4 at midnight launch, but didn't open it until later that night and I didn't even try it all THAT much aside from some hardware salivaring, some UI browsing and some KZ.

The wait is almost over my friends, and my GOD it is worth it.

That's the video that pushed me into ordering. The camera integration looks amazing and the gamer pack is great value. That being said, I'm gonna be hitting the high street at midnight and see if I can score one there.

PS When playing Killzone, try not to use ADS when enemies are only 10-20 meters away from you, depending on the situation.
I know it's counter-intuitive compared to just about any other fps game, but that's what makes KZ so much fun for me. Use burst fire when doing so though to control the bullet spread.

Be interesting to see how many XBones 'Bone out' at launch because if my PS4 is DOA at this point I'm pretty sure I'd be tempted to exchange & switch back to Xbox where my friends are :( "please don't be a dud, please don't be a dud!!!!!"
 
Looking into preordering now, there's a bunch of supermarkets that have the KZ bundle available here in the UK but I'm kind of interested in the mega bundle which as far as I can tell is out of stock, anyone here know where I can preorder one?

You can preorder it from Gamestop for 40 quid.
 
Here I am, waiting for my Killzone Bundle + AC4. I'm rushing my graduation thesis to be able to play with my PS4 every day all day from the 29th! :D

PA will mark down the value if you ask nicely ;) Going with free postage means you could be waiting anywhere from 1-6 weeks though, so I suppose it wouldn't be worth doing for anything you wanted to play in a hurry.
