Same here. Will check Thursday evening though before setting off for midnight launch in case the servers get hammered.
 
My PS4 is still processing on Shopto. Keeping an eye on my e-mail though for whenever it finishes processing.

Not getting a new hard drive right away, not enough money :( maybe once Chrismas (and my brothers birthday which is this week) is sorted. Probably get a 1.5 - 2TB one if I can find a good one for a good price.

also my blue DS4 still says delivery estimate: Friday 29th on Amazon.co.uk

First time using them since they got this new tracking system a month ago when I got a new 3DS XL... I love this system. I refresh it a lot so not only do I know the hour they will be here but how far away they are.

Better than waiting til god knows when like with some other couriers. Hell I'm waiting for a game from parcel force today and have no idea when it will be here other than it's being sent out.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't purchase all my games via the US PSN store using Amazon.com to get vouchers? Can I play games purchased this way on my EU account?

Yes, I have heard from stores in Scandinavia that they are recieving an "extremely limited supply". I wonder what dent this will put in the (initial) sales? I honestly think they would be able to sell so, so many consoles here if they had enough of them. :D

I used this new tracking once - the annoying thing is watching the delivery van shuttle back and forth past your house but you're number 80+ and he's only on delivery 4.

Here's hoping for a quick delivery on Friday!
 
I'm one unlucky son of a gun. I pre-ordered my PS4 relatively late from a finnish videogame store - August, if I remember correctly - and now the retailer informed me that I'm not getting my console on launch-day. I just missed the cut - I'm the first in line for the next shipment ( which, as he was informed, comes somewhere around January or February at the latest ). Finland is getting a smaller amount of consoles as was predicted, which is the reason for this mess. Ah well. I'll play through my PS3 and PC backlog now and pick up GT6 to pass the time.

I know, I know - first world problems and all - but I'm still pretty bummed out by this.
 
Oh, I do hope we don't have software forcibly dwnloaded onto our Euro/UK PS4's like we have had with fucking Singstar on the PS3! Still can't get rid of it or at least stop my PS3 booting to it when I turn it on.
I wonder when they'll start doing this shit on the PS4?

At least some of the workers in some of the shipping centers, yes. So far there is only a slow-down, not a complete stop and I think it is only for today. I really hope they get their shit together until Wed / Thu when they start shipping out the units!

Currently they are payed as logistics workers, but they want to be paid as if they were working in retail. More strikes are already announced for the xmas-shopping high season.

I thought the Xbox One would help me wait, but mine is defective and I'm waiting for a replacement =(
 
Fully paid off my order, now to stop myself checking Amazon every other hour to see if it's shipped or not, even though they already said it would be sent out by thursday at the earliest -_-

My items import and I went with EMS which just happen to pass it to parcel force so I don't have much of a choice there.

if given the option, I'd use DPD any day, the estimated time they will deliver it is just too helpful.

A strike in Germany? Never heard of such a thing!
That said I would never, ever, ever work for Amazon in one of their warehouses in the UK. There's a programme about it on BBC tonight. Great. Now I'll feel guilty about buying from Amazon! (That'll change once I get my PS4 from them).

Strangely, that sort of happened to me. Imported some camera goods and they were handled by Parcel Force in the UK... so suddenly £20 import tax was stamped onto items that only tallied $60/£40.

They said it was HMRC that put the tax on, but I'm sure that's only on items over £100.
 
Amazon.de has some problems with changing paymentinfos. When i change my payment my order will be delayed to an unknown date. Anybody knows if this happens as well when i pay everything via giftcodes now?

That delivery driver is about 10 minutes from where I used to live.

I hope Amazon use DPD for Friday. Having that system is a lot better than just sitting and waiting (and hoping).
