Feel free to share your impressions of this game and let others know how pleasantly surprised you were by what you "experienced". Don't let other people's hate affect you, in the end, it only harms those who feel it. These are exactly the kind of games that give me hope for the future of video games.

Same. I watched the presentation and got super hyped. I even showed my wife some of the beautiful vistas in-game.

I came here in the OT thread to share my excitement and saw people being so weird about it lol. So I just left that thread.

The game looks absolutely gorgeous, and the expansions in world-building, gameplay mechanics, weapons, and the camping system look amazing!

Art over graphics any day. AC Shadows is a stronger game on a technical level but looks boring af, dropped the game 10 hours in. Arriving to the golden forest in GoT was incredible. From this presentation this game seems to expand on those moments. Day 1.

I think that switching time periods thing is only going to be in her home town. At any time anywhere on the map doesn't seem plausible to me.
I don't think it'll be anywhere where there is combat. I'm hyped though, even if that nonbinary bitch looks like she's swallowing marbles.

I think its nothing. Probably reserved for walking scenes that kind of drip feed the events that transpired. Usually the games do it for you, now you can switch and just move on.

I think switching to the past could be cool if it was used to get past certain areas or for puzzle solving. Like the Lords of the Fallen feature without the annoying lamp shit.

I'm excited for the new weapons, the wolf companion, and new tools like that Scorpion chain.

You used to get banned for making needless threads and clogging up page 1. This could have been under the trailer thread.

Same goes for the two threads I've seen dissing the game. "WaHT have THey been Doing for FiVE Yeeards!?"

I wonder how are they going to do the "Joel" with Jin? They surely won't miss the opportunity to take a big fat dump on him in order to push their new non-binary MC.

I don't think there are going to be any ties with GoT tbh and that the armor is more just meant to be fan service.
But if Sucker Punch really wants the 2 stories to be related to each other in some way or form, I can see the ancestors of the Yotei 6 actually be followers of Jin who have gone rogue.
Atsu's father probably was part of the Yotei 6 (formerly known as the Yotei 7) who recognizes that they have strayed away from Jin's original teachings.
