Oh wow, I actually wasn't expecting TLOU to be ready for the Pro launch. May actually end up installing it just to check out how native 4k looks. Oh, and I still haven't played Left Behind, maybe I'll start that up.

Thinking of cancelling mine and just getting one later. Really wish they had a Final Fantasy version. Might wait for a Horizon bundle.

PS4 pro as a first Trojan horse 4K product in the house, starting the inexorable side towards 'needing' a 4kTV, or 4kTV laying the groundwork for 'well we need something to use those pixels'..

I was the latter, but only because my 9yo 1080p DLP died. It has since been "upgrade everything I guess", because my old AV Receiver couldn't do 4k, HDR or 3D.

Just paid off my Pro with that 10% off deal with Target. Used some of what was saved for express shipping so it says Nov 10th is the day it will arrive. Can't wait!

People on the internet

Because leaving only 3 days to show footage and information about 1080 support on the Pro is a consumer friendly tactic.

You're right, we are all being ridiculous......

........

..really dude?

That is not a lot of time for information to be released, consumers to make there verdict and THEN decide on a pre-order. Most of these things will be in the shipping phase by that point.

I have a quick hard drive question. I replaced the 500GB HDD with a 2TB HDD in my launch PS4. When my Pro comes in, can I just pull that drive out and put it in my Pro or is that not how any of this works?

I want to use that 2TB drive in my Pro but I don't know how to do that without erasing it and putting it in the Pro and starting from scratch. I have PT on my OG PS4 and I don't want to lose it. Help?

Ps4 PRO |OT| It seems that you've been living two lives. One life, you're PS4, a games console made by Sony. You are loved by millions, have many exclusives, and you... seem to be held back as gaming goes forwards. The other life is lived with power , where you go by the alias "Neo" and are guilty of virtually every enhancement we have the will for.

(Pick one of the other, better, smaller ones above :P )

For the people who has there's early, how loud and hot does it get compared to the PS4?

It's very cool & quiet, until you open the optical port.

Then the Third Heat generated by the Third Tier is unleashed, burning your home & loved ones to the ground.

One more vote for Hello, Neo* for the OT

I mean if you want to keep PT, i can only think of using the new Ethernet transfer option http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps4/settings/transfer.html
You will need a 3rd spare HDD

Step 1: transferring everything from OG to PRO
Step 2: swap out the 2TB from OG and put in 500GB or w/e into it to replace it temporarily
Step 3: transfer back from PRO to OG, now install that 2TB into your PRO and do a final transfer back to the PRO and you done.

assuming you want that 2TB in your PRO too ofcourse, minimize all other data to increase transfer speed.

Couldn't you just do a backup to an external hdd from the ps4, swap the 2TB into the Pro, then do a restore from external? Why all the swapping?
