You're overreacting here. Higher resolutions benefit greatly from larger screen sizes. Pointing out that 40 inches isn't exactly appealing doesn't make me a dick.
You conveniently left out your "entry level" comment.

Don't go below 50", you'll regret it.

When transferring data from one PS4 to the pro. Does the old PS4 need to be hooked up to a screen?

Come on man, my intention wasn't to be condescending, just an opinion of mine. I feel the bigger the TV, the more you will get out of 4k.lol not everyone has a setup with enough space for 50"+ are these comments really necessary? folks will ultimately choose based on their own living/gaming space, I will go with a 43" X800D and be happy.
Is there anywhere that awesome 2TB SSHD drive is back in stock? I was an idiot and forget to get before it sold out at Amazon.
Has TV size always been a pathetic penis-measuring contest or is this a new development?
If you are referring to me, my TV is 42 inches. Nothing to brag about and it wasn't my intention to brag about future purposes either.TV size has always been a bragging rights thing to alot of people my friend always has to show everyone when he gets a new tv and its bigger than anything any of us have.
Followed that video, the picture looks perfect on my cheap, entry-level, small TV.This settings are pretty good. Found this video the other day.
He has equipment to calibrate TVs. I'm pretty happy with those settings
The KU6000 is a perfectly good TV for gaming. It has low latency and with the proper calibration it's pretty good.
post!
some!
1080p game screenshots!
congrats
Are videos of older games still 720p or are they now 1080p, if you record on your Pro?no option to swap between 1080 and 4K in the TF2 menus. I would need to disable it on the TV first. looking for a place to host images, most sites are compressing the screens I upload. I think this one is uncompressed.

I can't believe that the dude who has had the PS4 Pro for the longest time has only ever done stuff like this and videos of the back of the console lol. He's taken pics of games, but that was when he first got it and they were compressed to all hell.
he's got tweets saying "I wish companies would send me their games. I will cover their product!" hahaIt is weird. Maybe someone from Sony got in touch with him and asked if he would respect the embargo date. Or maybe he just has no idea what he's doing. Who knows. The internet, and the denizens of it, are strange.

It's doing checkerboard 4K stuffWait...is it confirmed that UC4 is outputting at 4k? Or is it just your TV scaling the image to 4k? I thought they only added HDR to the game and that was it?

I assume the floodgates will open shortly all around given that a fair number of people have had them delivered already apparently.
Don't go below 60' is what I say. I have a Vizio m60-c3z. Albiet it's not hdr 4K, it's picture is perf and the price was unbeatable. Bring on the pro!!Don't go below 50", you'll regret it.
If you wanna be competitive in gaming, the smaller the screen the better so your eyes can see all sides etc quicker. For me 40" is max you should goDon't go below 50", you'll regret it.

Nope. In Vancouver.
R and C looks nuts. The only complaint for the OG one was some jaggies now there gone. Same with Imfamous.
Wouldn't matter if he did, there's still no patch for it available yet.Do you have BF1? Still wondering what improvements this one has.
Lulz. You know how close you sit is also a factor right?
I think your Best Buy can answer that better than we can.Am I going to be able to walk into Best Buy on Thursday and pick one up?

Since some people became so defensive after I called the KU6000 an unappealing entry level TV, here's a good review telling you why it's not a good 4K TV for HDR content: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yvNlSA2T4xA
I would avoid this TV and just save up for something that actually has good HDR performance.

Cheers.
I totally read that in Snake's voice, I picture him expanding on the description of the TV as thorough as Big Boss does with guns haha!
It may not be the best for HDR but is definitely an appealing entry level 4K TV, you are flat out wrong with that comment. Lets ignore the low input lag, great color and contrast etc.
Go check rtings budget 4k sets, its the top choice.
Keep telling us we're wrong though if that floats your boat.
Did you watch the review? HDR performance on this TV is absolutely terrible, barely even qualifying as HDR making it terrible, which is the whole topic of this discussion.
Hey dumb question did amazon Canada ship the pro in a box or just slap a sticker on the original packaging and ship it. The've been doing the latter a lot for mefound this on my door step this morning. Amazon.ca

You're screwed. It took 4 hrs to back up 500gb and I had to delete a shit load of games cause I have a 2TB drive. If I take my 1TB drive out without backing up, is there any way to read it in my new PS4? The damn thing is refusing to backup to my external hard drive and buyer is coming in 2 hours.

Is the external formatted to exfat?
No. I'd suggest deleting everything you don't need (games you can redownload/reinstall). If that doesn't work upload every save to the cloud.
