now.... What are the best homebrew apps for 6.35?
Ledsen said:where? I'm trying to find a cheap one here in Sweden but I can't find it for less than 1500 kr (~150)
BillyBobX said:My PSP 2000 was turning off when I tried to load this signed 6.35 HEN. I read somewhere that turning of the UMD Cache could help. I turned it off and it works now. FYI.

DKC is practically in slow-mo.

but I'm wondering where you guys are seeing this 10 free games thing? Which retailer is doing it? And can you give me a link please?
I'm new to the psp thing and dont have a ps3 either so i'm kinda in the dark regarding things sony.

I'm not hugely aware of the ins and outs, but what the hackers have been able to sign is getting better and better with each week. This week we had a 'Hello World' app and then a day or two later a signed 6.35 HEN.jling84 said:Hopefully someone in the know can answer this...
With this ability to sign code, is it likely we'll ever be able to play PS1 rips on the PSPgo? I mean rips from the PS1 original games, not the PS1 releases on PSN. Actually it doesn't even need to be on the PSPgo, because I have a PSP-2000 and PSP-3000 as well.
I really want to play through my Final Fantasy collection on PS1 (FF Origins through to FF9) on my PSP. I don't want to use my PS2 or PS3 because I'm afraid the discs will get damaged. Preferably that would be the PSPgo so I can use my Dualshock 3.
Conflict NZ said:If you have a psp go is it best to stay on 6.20 or go to 6.35?
typo said:I know the ISO loader works with 6.20. I've been ripping my UMDs only to discover I just wanted WipeOut Pulse and Virtua Tennis.
Conflict NZ said:I've just read that 6.20 is the only HEN that has the VSH menu and is the only one that will allow you to run iso loaders. Don't know if this is true but it means I will definitely stick with 6.20 for now.
Omikaru said:It wouldn't surprise me if, eventually, it's worked out how to sign PSone rips. We can already make them into EBOOTS to run on CFW, and these EBOOTS access the Sony's own PSone emulator to play them. Surely once the solution is known the software that turns PSone ISO rips into EBOOTS could also be updated to sign them.
you can use 5.03 or upgrade to 6.35.Lando Jones said:Couple of questions for some of you that have done CFW on your psps...
Basically my Japanese FF psp is on FW 5.03 what do I need to add CFW to it?
Do I need to upgrade?
Also is there a way to add cfw so its permanently on there and I wouldn't have to reboot it ever time the system is turned on, and still be able to run back up isos emulators and new psp games as well as sign on to psn?
It might seem like a lot but i'm honestly just curious as to what I can do with it all at once.
Also is there any other programs or cool things you can do with CFW besides just playing games?
Thanks!!!

Its that price used at gamestop.Phatcorns said:What was this about a PSP Go being 100 dollars? Was this some sort of black friday or cyber monday thing?

MoogPaul said:PSP Filer Ver.6.6 works on 6.35 signed/unsigned HEN. This allows you to rip your UMDs.
Prometheus ISO Loader version 0.1 by liquidzigong also works on both signed and unsigned 6.35 HEN. This allows you to play your ripped UMDs.
Have been using these for a little over a week and haven't had any problems.
6.20 lets you switch to 333mhz which I'd love to have on 6.35 but we can't right now. Also, no PS1 rips.
And there was also a Canadian website which sold new systems for $100 a few weeks ago.asdad123 said:Its that price used at gamestop.
To get it new at that price, people were using a coupon from Carl jrs for $50 off and price matching radioshacks sale price of 150.

mandiller said:I just bought a PSP Go. Is a lovely little device but i have a question. Should I upgrade it to 6.20 or 6.35? I want to use homebrew on it and i'd love to play backups on it from my library that I have with my psp2000. How are the iso loaders on the firmwares? Any discrepancies between the firmwares.
*edit. Also,is firmware 6.20 able to connect to the PSN store, or is that only the latest firmware?

in addition to the 6.35 PRO Signed HEN, there's also a 5.03 Signed KXploit!
signed kxploit 2000v3: http://u.115.com/file/f330bc931a
signed kxploit 3000: http://u.115.com/file/f3bb4196f2
all you need is a memory stick.Lando Jones said:Sweet thanks!
Do I need a Pandora battery in order to make these work or no?!
The Faceless Master said:all you need is a memory stick.
if you have a PSP 1000/2000 that lets you use a pandora battery, you should be using CFW instead of one of these signed loaders!
Truespeed said:I'm running R2. Are you using R4?
the most reliable way to find out for sure is to use the signed KXploit, then run PSPIdent.Lando Jones said:Right I forgot to mention that now that I look at it. I have a Japanese psp 2000 at OFW 5.03
I'm guessing a pandora battery is probably the best route but i'm not very tech savvy so I don't know which would be better to be able to run both ISOs and new UMDs..
EDIT - How do I know what the motherboard type on this psp is, and also any more links you might have to help me get this going on my own would be amazing..
Thanks again
does PSP Filer work?jling84 said:With all the stuff that's coming out now, is there a way to downgrade the firmware on a PSP-2000 or 3000 yet? Mine are at too high of a firmware to use as UMD rippers.
The Faceless Master said:the most reliable way to find out for sure is to use the signed KXploit, then run PSPIdent.
if it's a TA-088v3 motherboard, it can't use CFW.
well, you're on 5.03, so you use the signed 5.03 kxploit, no firmware updating necessary.Lando Jones said:Alright wait, do I need to update my psp in order to run ChickHen on it in order to find out what motherboard I have? Won't that ruin my psp since it's better to be at a lower OFW?
As you can tell i'm a bit confused.
Appreciate the help
mandiller said:I just updated my new PSP Go to firmware 6.35 so I could go online with it an claim my 10 free games but now when I connect to the PSN store it asks me to download firmware 6.37 which has literally just come out!
Is there a way I can access the store without updating? I suspect I will lose homebrew if I update, but I want my free games and also want to buy a few today so I have something to play. Any help? Can I redeem my 10 free games with the Media Go software?
