PSP FIRST EMU !!!!!!!

They told me 45+ FPS with sound in some games...I guess no frameskip there...However they claim transparency effects are OFF.
Dunno really by my own since I have a 1.5...

Tomorrow I'll try tons of games :)

omg so hot

^^ That's NES Mario, correct? I hope you can scale it preserving the aspect ratio....

45FPS is a very good speed. Transparency effects will bring that down, of couse, but disabling sound will bring it back up :)

Sooo, how fast does it actually run? We talking a full 60 fps yet (without sound, if need be)? Or is this all about skipping?

I could totally lose the sound for now, as I often use my PSP in an environment where I can't easily listen to anything.

45+ FPS for most games with transparences off...And with sound...Perhaps without sound you reach 60 fps...but I really don't know.
Just quoting what I read from people who have tried it.

Tomorrow, after the 1.5 exploid appears I'll try most types of games:

-Mode 7 extensive games (like Axelay or Mario Kart)
-Games with tons of transparences (like Demon's Crest)
-SFX2 games (yoshi's Island)
etc.

And post impressions here.

So there are several stretching modes. Nice. The actual full screen mode doesn't look so bad actually, because the direct 1-1 pixel ratio mode has picture squished horizontally, due to SNES's non-standard resolution.

What's going on in 2nd Indy shot? Why is picture stretched horizontally too much in it?

What does that mean? Sony put in a faster CPU but downscaled it to a slower speed?
Nope, Sony put in a clock-configurable chipset - it's a power management-saving feature.
Clock is entirely under software control - just that commercial software to date was restricted to max of 222mhz.

I'd be surprised if the homebrew coders did manage to get the CPU to run at 333MHz since it seems like Sony made it hard to adjust until they want people to.
Er, commercial apps do not have the option of not following Sony's guidelines. You either follow their requirements or you will not ship your title on their platform.
