TTP said:That's actually the clear part. Is says "Ad-hoc mode gameplay will also be supported".
What isn't specified is that includes remote PSPs connected to Ad-Hoc Party.
Oh god yes!_dementia said:Gundam vs Gundam Next please.

Galvanise_ said:Its not particularly hard with these games. They won't use a lot of the PS3's processing capabilities.

Here is a video of Monster Hunter 3 on NGP, can anyone tell if it looks any better, it hard to tell as it's ofscreen capture

TTP said:Now that you mention it, trophy support is confirmed for NGP games no? If so, NGP ver of MH3 will support trophies and I guess the PS3 ver will as well.

VC3 at least, since it probably won't get a western release otherwise. Final Fantasy Type-0 would also be a perfect fit.Mockingbird said:Valkyria Chronicles 2+3 please. Oh and maybe Ore no Imouto. Those three and that's it. I'll be happy.
You're getting mixed up between upscaling and upressing. These PSP remakes are being rendered at native 1080p instead of 272p, PSP games on NGP will still be rendered at 272p but will then be stretched to fit 544p, they won't look much better as they're still PSP resolution. However NGP may also add anti aliasing to PSP games which will reduce the jaggies.KAL2006 said:Don't you get it, you don't need to re-release PSP games on NGP if the NGP can upscale on it's own, with the NGP being exactly 4X the res of PSP, upscaling will look great on NGP. Nirolak said on the other thread that it seems Monster Hunter HD hasn't even got AA, it's just upscaled, so I assume NGP would be able to do all this without even having to rebuy the game, just play your PSN version.

TTP said:The textures are definitely better on the PS3 version tho. I don't think it's just upscaling the geometry resolution.

KAL2006 said:I can't tell, PSP just looks more blurry and NGP just looks more sharp. What textures look improved to you.
It's hard to tell if they're improved as the resolution of the PSP version is so low it masks any detail in the textures.TTP said:All of them?
If the textures were the very same as the PSP version, they would look terrible when stretched to cover all the extra pixels of higher res geometry.

Also look at the carpet to the right.[/QUOTE]
Looks to me like they are even changing some of the geometry. Look at the tree outside the window. There are no branches in PSP version, just a bunch of leaves.
