Quality of the PS5 Edge Pro controller is horrible.

Not even a month of owning this thing and looks what's going on.

Normal gameplay I manly play GT7 and jrpgs I haven't drop it once.

The batteries are also horrible full change and at 1 bar not even 2 hours later.

$217 for this. 3/10 do Better Sony.

I've had mine since launch, use it daily, and it is still in mint condition. Best controller I have ever owned. Blows away Scuf, the Elite Controller, the Razer. Im thinking you got a bad one.

Yeah the part that peels off is absolutely stupid. Got some wraps on Amazon but yeah, not sure it will even be revised in the 30th edition.

Thanks for the heads up, similar shit happening with the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller - they're all not worth the money!
Was about to say I had the same issues with that controller as well lasted me about 8 months. First and last time I spend my money on these "pro" controllers, terrible build quality.

You are 100% withholding information
No one is holding anything I didn't payed 217 for this controller to have this happen no one does.

I also have 2 normal DS one from 2021 which is in great condition and one from 2023 also in good condition.

They make terrible quality controllers because people are willing to spend stupid money for overpriced accessories, and even those are made with the same quality.

But you all will continue to spend stupid money anyway.

I've had mine since launch as well and it's in great condition still. You sure you didn't get a knockoff or maybe just a lemon?

Daily use since launch, zero issue with build quality.

Short battery life has been well publicized since launch day tho. That one's on you my guy.

People who defend the controller just because it's the brand that it is are part of the problem, which is why every generation we have controllers that are toy-like in durability and also more expensive.

Shame.

Damn that sucks. No such problem with mine. A month old? I would contact Sony. Should be a year warranty on that.

happens to me as well, i have to buy third party grips to repalce it.

I think Sony messed up on this one.

I think the grip part depends on how sweaty, oily your hands are.

I never threw my controller, everything works perfect except the grip peeled off this year (i bought it around 2 years ago i think), its not a plastic material, its more of a leather type material.
Im not sure why Sony picked that particular part made of nonplastic material, weird.

But yea grip peeled off within a month is weird

Yikes, haven't had that happen to mine but a bit of googling seems to show it's fairly common. Gonna have to check mine when I get home
