You won't hear me defend Louisiana schools very often, but St. Michaels is honestly one of the best schools in the state, and I assume she went to the elementary/middle school that is directly tied to it, so all things considered her education should at least be par with what everyone expects.

Well, at least they didn't say "if" but still. Good fucking lord. The school should just apologize for the clearly offensive and racist essay. There's no "who was" about it. Man.

And when I read that vile shit all I can hear is her dad, mom or family saying this same shit at home.

When literally half of the country thinks like her, when other ethnic groups globally agree and see blacks as dregs, what are we supposed to do? You can't educate someone who dosent want to be. Yeah no school this shit is on the parents or some adult figure in her life. No one comes to this kind of ridiculous logic twist about the Bible, Slavery and Black people on their own.

Try real hard to raise your kids to be racist and this is what you get. The most laughable justification for slavery every written.

Feel bad for whatever the poor girl has been fed through her parents. Kids don't wake up one day and suddenly grow resentful of minorities for no reason at all.

I doubt the school teaches her such awful things. Im wondering how this letter got out and if they reprimanded her. They should definitely be doing something about that

They also have to be careful about how to approach this because the student is likely going to get exposed and that's a nightmare for them to handle

You can bet she's going to move schools if other kids make her life hell

There is no way to read this paragraph that doesn't confirm the school itself is also pretty racist.

I really am trying to feel bad for her if this happens but my patience doesn't extend this far. I try real hard to have sympathy and understanding for everyone but I'm finding it real hard right now.

This isn't diet racism, this is Grand Wizard quality racism. I don't think anyone should be given hell but if someone gives her shit for this I can tell you I might not mind it so much.

Yeah this is the biggest joke liberals like to believe. That someday all the old white men & women with one foot in the grave will keel off and we'll be in a new era. Those old white people were once young white people who learned racism from the previous generation. There's no reason to believe the current or upcoming or future generations would be any different.

This honestly reads like a bunch of Facebook posts pasted together to create the biggest "I'm not racist but..." essay. Full of all the typos and grammar mistakes that other racists include in their rants. At this point, this girl is probably not going to get rid of her disgusting beliefs. We as a society cannot get rid of racism when it is still being taught at the family level. She was taught this by her parents and she unfortunately could go on to teach children the same if she has any.
