nah the points we agree on have increased the last year and especially in last months, it doesn't shock me anymore. aside from specific topics, we think alike. it was more to do with topics we've discussed initially (more focused on hardware than games themselves. I myself didn't participate in talks other than hardware but I've branched out more in recent times). it just shows we're not biased to be against each other, just that in certain topics we don't agree but on other topics we might tag along just fine. I for example look forward to enjoying forspoken and got it on Epic and it is on my backlog. and I don't find the main character cringe just like you. I definitely feel I will be on a similar boat as you in the case of Forspoken too (as controversial as it sounds). I won't put the game on a pedestal but even from demo I liked its gameplay a lot and I'm more hyped towards playing forspoken than Avowed just for an example. even Forspoken looks a touch above whatever they showed with Avowed. but that also has to do with how generic uneral engine games started to look. Forspoken still run on a unique engine so that is by itself is a huge win in my bookI am shocked. We agree on something.
Yeah, I just don't care abot indian... it looks just OK, not awful or anything but I couldn't care honestly. Avowed I never cared but I was not convinced to be interested.
Hellblade 2 is something I will play that way or another. I loved the vibe in first one but gameplay was poor and it's not going to change. It's not a system seller but I will just get 2$ sub for a month and that's it... so they won't get money worth form me.
our taste in games are not far away and it usually shows, I tend to agree with your points about games most of the time (rare instance where I didn't agree was about atomic heart IIRC)
