Man. This is going to be the most impressive looking game on any platform when it comes out. Already looks better than ANYTHING else available.
 
If real, and dual wielding is in, i really hope it has Max Payne 3's equip system. Would feel amazing in a heavy western open world

It will most likely still be an incredible game, but I don't trust Rockstar screens after GTA 5

For me though, Im sure it will look more than good enough for my tastes, I just don't like the whole bullshot stuff.
 
I do wonder how toned down the violence will be. GTA V was still really fun to play and had great violence, but MP3 and RDR were brutal with bullet damage. I'm hoping they bring that back.
 
This is my most anticipated game ever, but yeah I don’t get where all the excitement over these images are coming from. A few still images of artwork that look fairly normal. A dude in a street, a train, a gun. Which could have come from anywhere and are 100% not screenshots taken directly from gameplay. No news here.
 
Okay, digging in here, a few hypotheses based on these screens.

Okay, obviously looks like we'll be able to dual-wield (yay!) but that's also some nice engraving work on those Schofields. I'm guessing we'll be able to get a little custom work on our guns. Engravings, pearl handled grips, etc.

Probably looking at our main protagonist. It appears to be the same hat, with the double rope wrapped around it. Looks like different clothes, expecting more in-depth clothing options than the previous game. Both these screens also reinforce that we'll be able to dual-weild. Also in the first picture it looks like he's holding two different types of guns. Possibly a Schofield in his left, and a Single-Action Army in his right, so looks like we'll be able to mix and match.

Nothing really specific on these, but from what we've seen and heard of the game I tend to think it will revolve around a group making a series of robberies, and I'm sure the robberies will be diverse: Banks, trains, stagecoaches. Also hope we're able to take control of trains this time.

This is the goddamn wild west, it needs to be as brutal as it can be. Gun wounds, bullet holes, lot's of blood etc.
 
If they manage to somehow incorporate the precision and shooting mechanics of Max Payne 3, I will die happy. That would be a dream come true.
 
Well, these screenshots gave us more to speculate about than the whole teaser from last October. They look great.

These theories make a lot of sense when you figure that Rockstar needs lots of cosmetics to sell in RDR2 Online.
 
I really hope Rockstar nails the weapon sounds in this game, because the ones in GTA 5 were awful and sounded like wet farts. It would definitely enhance the experience in my opinion.
 
I just remembered the online mode for this is going to be so obnoxious like in gta v but expected since rockstar makes so much money through it

I hear that, I just hope they don't compromise the single player component for it...

Rockstar always teases really effectively. The main characters are probably sitting in plain view in that town shot, we just don't know it.
 
I mean these look too good to be real but I thought the same back when I saw the first Red Dead Redemption 1 screenshots and it's Rockstar after all.

They looks somewhat thick compared to normal video game woman hands, but Rockstar's games also tend to feature regular humans.

I was asking some other mods and got a mixed response, so I was curious what people here thought.

They look pretty manly to me. Especially the left hand.
 
I think that looks pretty dam good if it comes out actually looking like that. At least I know Scorpio will be out before this. Cant wait! :D
 
I have the sinking feeling that RDR2 won't be as good as the first one. Like, it feel it's going "basic", without the tragedy or the self reflection.
