Holy shit they're playing Leisure Suit Larry 2! This game is going to drive them insane - tons of deaths, some odd puzzles, etc. LSL2 is an anomaly for the LSL series, as it's focused more on a bizarre spy/espionage story and less on the LSL hijinks we know and love.

The Space Quest stream was probably my favorite one previously. This should be fun.

Heh, LSL2 is rather infamous for two reasons:
1) You just sorta stumble into the plot, as Larry wins a cruise, is handed the macguffin, and decides to escape the cruise for some reason. The aimlessness of its intro is only outclassed by Space Quest 3.
2) Even by Sierra standards, LSL2 has some cheap deaths. Particularly in that cruise escape I mentioned. If you don't pick up all of the right items in town (and keep in mind, you won't know what you'll need until you need it) during the invisible time limit, the segment is unwinnable, so you have to restart. And there's a few items during that segment that you can only use at one specific point.

I tuned in moments ago to see Jack and Rich decide to play something else once Larry got the secret package ("onklunk") and the spy plot was revealed. LOL.

They were getting really sick of the game before that. They got up to the dating show portion, and were commenting about how it wasn't even a game anymore, just bad writing that the writer blatantly knows is bad but continues to write anyways, and a few hours previously when it was pretending to be an adventure game, it barely even qualified as one.

They were seriously talking about quitting the game, and then *yay*, it starts pretending to be an adventure game again. It's not fun, but... (and Jack admits that he has nothing after "but..."). They're just continuing for the sake of continuing.

Then the spy plot is revealed, and on the one hand they're so starved for anything to happen that they're happy to see it, but once they realize that it was just dropped on them by the writers, with no actual "gameplay" to speak of, they just gave up and quit the game.

Jay just said that the next BotW is recorded and features a movie with PJ Soles.

There's a movie on her Wiki page with the same name as one of those porno films they were listing off in the "Psycho from Texas" review. "Kept". I don't know if it could be the same one though.

I've been watching Half in a Bag for a long time and started with Best of the Worst a month ago. I think I'm through all episodes now.

What am I going to do now? Does life make any sense?

OH MY GOOOOOOOD.

Old Plinket reviews are the answer, of course.

Went through all Star Trek reviews and I'm watching Avatar now. Too bad it's only 20 minutes.

Has it even been confirmed if in Wheel of the Worst 5 that they staged the order of the videos? I say this because the reaction to when they get SOS 3rd feels really fake and acted. It feels like it's what they got first, realized "there is no way this isn't winning" and shot new footage to make it the last film.

Considering the format, I have a hard time believing that most of the picks in WOTW are genuine anyway. You never know how many takes it took them to get the video they wanted to see and all that. In the end, it doesn't really matter to me, as most episodes are pretty enjoyable. The only time I was pissed that they rigged the pick (and showed it), was when the wheel stopped at the Aladdin movie with Buds Spencer and Mike pushed it to Gymkata. I really wanted to see their reaction to that movie and it never came up on the wheel again. Goddamnit, Mike!

I can't imagine that they actively decided to land on Ice Dams in WotW 7. I mean.... it's Ice Dams.

Plus, S.O.S was on the Wheel in episode 4 as well, without landing on it.

I'm not saying that there isn't some sort of "fix" in play on certain occasions, but I do believe that there is at least some level of randomness to it.

I agree with both points, I imagine they like to keep it as random as possible, though sometimes they may have to reshoot/edit things in a way to keep suspense over what will win/lose.

I think it's pretty much a given they are manipulating results especially if they get all 3 being absolutely not very interesting videos. They seem to want to have a balance in there at least by bumping up some of them by going into depth on the speculation a bit and then lo and behold they get it.

They overplayed it, but it was also the most baffling thing on the wheel and pretty much impossible to not be at least interesting. Hadn't they watched the airplane video before that?

I don't see why they'd bother manipulating it off screen when they've added a fourth and fifth video when it didn't work out for whatever reason.

I typically avoid as much as I can for any movie I have even a slight interest in seeing. I just like watching movies blind.

So, that was the first footage I've seen of this movie and it looked fucking horrible.

98% on Rotten Tomatoes.

There must be something wrong with you.

When they were mocking the Wachowski's for not creating anything good since The Matrix, did they forget about V for Vendetta or did they just not like it? Well, at least I liked it.
