That 3PO shot looks like its right out of ANH.

You also have to remember Episode III (along with Ep. II) are not shot on film, but digital, which gives a different (some would say worse) look.

I almost forgot Anakin had that robotic arm now while watching them grapple in the trailer. I assume it'd give him superior strength.

THAT may be why Ep. 1 looks more in common with the OT than the entirety of Ep. 2. Geezus, so many freakin neon brite colors in Ep.2, That Jedi glo-stick battle made me sick.

I hardly remember the first two teasers. I just thought this one was lame.


The stuff with Alec Guiness is cool, but none of the Episode III footage in this trailer excited me.

This teaser certainly didn't do much for me. Further proof Star Wars is dead to me I suppose.

I'll see it the day it's released, but I just can't get excited for anything in this franchise anymore. Please bring back the magic, George. Please.

Damn, I want to see this so bad. The best trailer for the PT has been for The Phantom Menace, in my opinion. This is better than AotC's though.

And at the very least, for 2-3 hours, we'll all be in the theater with fellow Star Wars fans, with our Star Wars goggles on, cheering the characters on- even if later we realize the movie wasn't really *that* good. That'll be worth it for me.

00:23 - Obi-Wan Kenobi in ANH speaks to Luke about the Jedi.
00:26 - Qui-Gon Jinn in TPM brandishes his saber before the final duel with Darth Maul.
00:27 - Shot from AOTC of the Clonetroopers walking into the transport.
00:29 - Shot from AOTC of the Clonetroopers at the end of the movie with transports lifting off in the background.

they should give that line to chewbacca or R2 this time, and just leave it up to the viewer to figure it out contextually.

PLEASE don't tell me, but I'm really curious what actually finally pushes Anakin over the edge.

Something must happen to Padme. I mean obviousely he gets seduced by the dark side, but there's gotta be some kind of catalyst.

EDIT - Oh, by the way, that was one of the greatest teaser's ever! I got goose bumps.

I hope we get to see a fight where Anakin and Obi-Wan tag-team someone (obviousely in the beginning before he goes all bad :) )

...damn, that black text is screaming "highlight me" :) It's taking everything I got to resist!

Anyone know why Anakin's wearing yellow Sith contacts in that one scene but not in the fight against Obi Wan?

Spoiler
Palpatine used the dark side to mask his Sith appearance from everyone, so it's possible the red eyes is right when Anakin fully turns.

Oh damn it, this teaser is going to make me highlight almost every spoiler. I'll try to resist:) There is nothing more elating than a Star Wars teaser/trailer.

I just hope Mace Windu meets his end in an epic lightsaber duel...although I have a feeling it'll be via some type of sacrificial heroic deed.
