I was looking to get a new pc with an I9 cpu and a 4080 super. The 5090 cost as much as the pc's I looked at. I need specs to see how much better a 5090 is over the 4090.

Some unofficial confirmation of the 32gb

God damn. This, the 70% raster performance increase rumors, plus some AI/DLSS secret sauce that nVidia has hinted at may make this a 1080Ti type card that's so far ahead that it lasts 6-8 years.

I doubt most of this. I don't expect any exclusive DLSS tech this time or massive performance increases.

This will be 4xxx but X% better (40% or more for 5090? Much less for lower models). Just like Ampere was for Turing.

I guess we'll see. All the leaks/rumors have suggestion 60-70% leaps for the 5090 (and less for the 5080 and lower cards). And Jensen Huang himself has hinted at what future DLSS versions could bring. He's talked about generating higher res textures and objects in real-time.

Only a couple weeks now and we'll know :).

Lovelace basically skipped a die and we got a 60% performance increase from the 3090 to 4090. I highly doubt we’ll see a 60-70% uplift in raw performance with Blackwell.
