Why is there any discussion about Trump stepping down? I don't see anything damaging to Trump here. No proof and therefore easy to dismiss and further discrediting MSM. Heck, the report was probably leaked by Trump so that no one pays attention to the confirmation hearings of the crooks he selected for his cabinet (ok, maybe not, but the timing is interesting).

This is a document with allegations currently being investigated by the intelligence community. If the the FBI rolls up to Trump tower with a pair of handcuffs (metaphorically speaking) there will be calls from both sides of the aisle for him to step down.

buzzfeed are only responsible for releasing the document to the public, the fact that the FBI/CIA contacted Trump and Obama about the document happened earlier (last week). It's not a case of buzzfeed spinning tales, they have just made it more visible. CNN were first with the story about such documents being investigated by FBI/CIA.

TL;DR - There was a report made as opposition research by a former MI6 agent that's been floating around for a while now but no news agency had actually reported on it because it's kind of hard to verify. That report made its way to the FBI via John McCain sometime in December. Last week the intelligence agencies apparently found it credible enough that they added it into their briefing to Obama and Trump. CNN reported on that fact. After CNN reported on that, Buzzfeed decided to post the entire thing. Within that document was allegations of Russian collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia for about 5 years. Also, it says the Russians set up and have tape of a Trump sex act and they're using that as blackmail. The specific sex act is that he was set up in a suite used by the Obamas and had some Russian prostitutes piss on the bed.
