Has anyone read that SGDQ 2014 story with Giantwaffle and Stivity?

Obviously shitty what happened to her but I'm really confused on two things with her. First, why the hell would you let them in your room again and proceed to get drunk with them the very next night after what happened on the first night? Second, on the morning after, why on earth would you initiate giving that dude a handjob which sends all the wrong signals instead of just getting up and leaving the room? I dunno, I guess chalk it up to being 18 and dumb, but not the brightest decisions ever. And what a fucking lowlife her husband was.

Didn't want to post this on Era cause I'd definitely be permabanned in 5 minutes due to "victim blaming". I'm just genuinely curious on those sketchy decisions.

It's so careless I originally thought it was actually a setup on his part with them. But then you figure the dude is 19 and probably not the most emotionally stable person out there. He saw his wife drinking and originally having fun with everyone and he was sober and probably ignored so he ended up feeling jealous and angry and left. What is baffling is how he never goes back once to check up on her. Was he like testing her loyalty or something, or maybe he just wasn't man enough to go back? He probably played out this whole scenario in his head where he thought she was cheating on him so he just drove off and ditched her there not knowing at the time no consent was given. Regardless he's equally to blame for what happened, and then 3 years later forgiving the dude who raped your wife on a reddit post? Like WTF

They don’t actually delete everything. They just delete your name and avatar from your posts. Your posts and threads remain and you can still see the name in quotes. So it basically achieves nothing. Is that within gdpr?

The point is you can't go in and check if they've actually deleted your identifiable information (email address etc) because they ban the account and that completely stops you accessing anything. I got curious after my account deletion and if you put in Deleted Member xxx and your password it still logs you into the account - you just get your ban message.

Given they haven't even deleted your password I'm assuming they've half arsed the whole thing.

If they have deleted all your information, then you could theoretically register as a new person as they have no information to compare it with. Just spitballing, probably use a new email maybe.

No, its not. they dont need to delete anything but they need to make it anonymous. So its not traced back to you. So email need to be removed or hashed, name etc. Google does this too, they dont remove anything but they do it so that nothing is traced back to you.
