Its funny because in Holland its not much different. people can be suspicious if you have a dutch flag waving on other days than celebration days. A flag on your jacket was even sort of banned as it identified as Nazism to some. They also start to dismiss history more and more, trying to bring down statues os founding people and changing certain street names.
