i just mean, for them reality is defined by media.
they don't believe in God. they don't believe in family. they don't believe in country. their entire activist theology revolves around toppling cultural hierarchies and social systems. so they are more dependent than ever on consumer media to provide their lives with meaning.
because no matter how much socialist posturing they will do, deep down they believe in the promise of capitalist techno utopia. and no matter how against religion they pretend they are, they love a cult of personality, they love rituals, they love myths and heroes and statues, as long as it is of them. they love casting out disbelievers. they love deplatforming heretics. they love crucifying people, kneeling, and washing feet.
it just happens that a lot of them are virtually illiterate and are just now thinking about these topics for the first time in their lives, they have no idea how clueless they are. they only know things from the internet, memes, or pop culture. they have never read a history book outside of school. they are historically ignorant. so it's like "Let's put people in re-education camps" with "By the way, I haven't really thought this through". like daaaaamn and you are married to a woman who is equally as stupid? haha

Create a new MAC address, new IP, new windows setup, change resolution, alter your browser, use a proxy, route via remote desktop or work computer. Honestly just get creative, it's not hard to break stupid ban systems at all.

To be entirely honest and forthcoming, I'm actually chill with a couple Era mods on Discord. We DM here and there, and shoot the shit. You'd be shocked how chill they can be outside of that ecosystem. Surprisingly normal.

There's tools that match you away from IP address e.g. windows version, browser version, device/MAC, resolution, colour settings etc. You can throw them off by fucking around with a ton of your settings basically. They use a cumulative summary match essentially.
