Yup. I'm a white dude who has lived in Japan for 15 years, over a third of my life. I'm most definitely a minority, white people do not have any kind of colonial power over the Japanese, and I have absolutely experienced varying levels of racism here. Yet I cannot bring it up on ERA, and have even been banned for doing so. Not even for equating my experiences with others, but simply for stating that white people can experience racism in certain situations.
There are many, many posters on ERA who simply love the feeling of schadenfreude of white people suffering in any capacity. Whenever the demographics shift so that white people can experience racism with the definition they've provided, well, then it's time to move those goalposts.
