I'm not American but even I can see there is a concerted effort for left-authoritarianism in every facet of the media, whether it's cultural/pop media, videogames or hollywood. Basically one is branded alt-right, nazi or racist for slightly deviating from the new sets of ideas. No room for nuancing your opinions. Then these same people are aghast as to why all these people tiki torches have come from to vote for Trump.
ResetEra is REEE dialed to the max. If I were a member of the LGBT-community or another kind of minority, I'd be fucking livid if some pale, scrawny, soyfaces try to 'represent' me and hijack my causes. Some members of the LGBT-community have expressed their concerns before about ResetEra putting them down as helpless seals and asking them kindly to not dictate what the community itself should feel or say. It's a fucked up variant of a white-saviour complex in which the white protagonist has to save the minorities/disenfranchised against some cartoonishly evil enemy.

I did briefly consider compiling them all, but yes it's really 8 or more. Always the same, always back to the well for a hugbox and no positive steps taken to seek therapy. That forum is basically enabling his behavior and bringing in more copycats.

Yeah I was banned there - not because I was toxic or anything. Some mod just decided to jump into conclusions based on something I said and that I actually see on a daily basis. People are nice there (sometimes way too nice), good place of discussion, but I remember I had better times on GAF. That's why I came back (7 years account if I'm not mistaken?!). The mods there are trigger happy and anything that you say that goes against them warrants you a ban. I'm not gonna point out anyone specifically but it's some type of bullshit when you can not express opinions on a discussion forum. Because of that, I tend to just keep it to myself on serious matters and just have fun.

The only time I can have a discussion on era is when it's a technical thread on hardware, like issues with the new 3080 and LG tvs. The crazies seem to steer clear of logic based stuff and/or there is just no room for being a retard and getting offended by something.
