Origins Collection will be offered as a 'soft' bundle on Steam starting Jan. 19th. Purchasing the OC package will simply add RE1HD and RE0HD as separate apps on your library list; in other words, there isn't a separate entry for Origins Collection within the Steam library list.

With that said, you technically can pre-purchase OC by getting RE1HD today (and start playing it right away) and pre-purchase RE0HD separately ;)

We will also pre-load RE0 closer to the release date.

So, if I'm understanding this correctly - If I have owned RE1HD since release, and Preorder RE0HD, it would be exactly the same as pre-purchasing the OC? Does this also entitle me to the Nurse and Cody Costumes?

So it's the whole game as Wesker and Evil Rebecca? That's awesome.

So this costume deal is really fricken stupid. If you preorder the game digitally you get cheerleader Rebecca and Wolf Force Billy. If you preorder the game physically you get nurse Rebecca and Cody Billy. Having seperate preorder bonuses depending on which format you get is really bad.

So can someone clarify the DLC status for this game? I want to pre-order the RE Origins Collection (retail), but does that mean I won't get Billy's commando costume and Rebecca's cheerleader? Those two costumes are advertised as a bonus for pre-ordering RE0 HD, not the Origins Collection.

I wonder if they'll fix the music playing too slow bug in Remake 1 HD on the retail collection.
It got fixed on pc by modders.

Probably depends on who you preorder from. I ordered with Best Buy and the preorder bonus is part of my order.

Sadly, from as far as Capcom has made it clear; The costumes are format specific.

Pre-order the game physically: Nurse Rebecca and Cody Billy
Pre-order the game digitally: Cheerleader Rebecca and Commando Billy.

So basically if you want all 4 costumes you have to buy the game twice, one on disc and one digital. Again, Capcom has not revealed anything that would suggest otherwise.

Guess people who want all the outfits (or want a specific one, but don't prefer the format they come with) has to hope, and pay, for DLC.

I wonder if the physical collection is worth it if I already have REmake on PC...

What did they replace the typewriter font with in RE0 remastered then?

Yeah I must admit that was the one thing that bugged me about the last one. Even more than the graphics filters or panning camera.

Speaking of which I take it it's a given that this one has the same camera pan if you play widescreen?

Capcom is going crazy with costumes for Rebecca in Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster, two new ones found, but these are not revealed unlockables, so click if curious (and on mobile, I hear it'll just be there).

S.T.A.R.S. 2002
?! Interesting. Might be related to the
new CGI movie they are working on
.

Also, I really hope Billy get at least half the amount of costumes too. If I'm gonna to replay the game, I want to dress him up too into something nice and sexy (and I have a physical edition, so no Lone Wolf costume then ;_;).

It'd be much safer to assume we've already seen all of his costumes. Maybe you should look into modding the game if you eventually get the PC version - looking at what's been done for the RE1 remake, you could probably swap him into Chris' costumes with minimal effort. Though you'd probably have to end up doing that yourself, since I highly doubt anyone would focus on him as opposed to modding Ada, Claire, (Ninja) Moira, Sherry, Jessica or Jill into the game.

Resident Evil Remake and Zero came out in 2002. That would make it her default costume...

Duh, stupid me. I thought it was more about in-universe year. :/

Thankfully Resident Evil community is full of
gay
Chris lovers so someone will probably (hopefully) mod Chris in
and replace Rebecca with Piers <3
.

If I buy the physical collection and delete the digital version of REmake, will it keep my save files and work with the disk version? Pretty sure it would, just have no prior experience with this to confirm.

Was REmake HD ever patched to correct the music bugs?

It actually wasn't a bug, the affected tracks were purposely adjusted for some reason. This is evidenced when comparing the Bonus Soundtrack included with the Steam preorder to the previously released soundtracks.

I believe those specific tracks may also be named differently to reflect it, if I recall.

I think it was more the people working on it didn't realize they were supposed to play at half-speed and no one told them to change it. And THEY thought that was how it was supposed to sound. And it's awful.

And not enough people realize or care so I'm just gonna sit here and pout. The return to the mansion is pretty much ruined by this for me.

whoa it releases next week , i just saw the physical version on amazon and will place an order now with the discount

hyped to finally finish RE0 and replay REmake

This may be the toughest time choosing one or the other, PC version preorder by itself (get REmake later, not ready for yet another replay on that one) or Origins PS4 combined via Best Buy/Amazon discount. Then you have the nonsense with the different costumes. Bah, flip a coin I guess.

Looks like an actual effort unlike REmake. I found that to be a really mixed bag in terms of scaling everything up. Here it looks great for the most part.
