This game really deserves to sell like 4-5 million copies, its a shame it probably won't even come close to that.
I've always liked the idea/atmosphere/style of the Resident Evil games more than the gameplay itself, but this looks like the first Resident Evil I'll play all the way through since the original RE in 1996.

FUCK! I still need to play MP2 and PM2. As much as I tried to like the other Resident Evils (I played RE:CV on Dreamcast and REMake on GC), they always pissed me off. This one looks like it might change that trend.

Yeah this is one game that my non-Cube owning buddies or "have a Cube but never touch it" types will go crazy over.
The bad thing is most of them are probably broke after the holidays.
I'll be downright honest, I think this is really the first *must have* "holy shit!" type of game on the GameCube especailly to casual players. Metroid Prime was close but not quite.

Like all GameCube games, it'll be out in Australia when hell freezes over. Can't you import from the UK or something?
That was a good video review. The game looks incredible. I've been basically apathetic about it and haven't seen much other than a few screens before since I have two REs on GC and both of them bored me literally about 1 hour in (nothing against the game quality, just not my type of gaming), but maybe this one is different enough to warrant a third chance for the series from me.

Maybe it's not as common as I think, but I always notice it because of its awesome boxart, so I know I've seen it quite a bit.

Great review and great score.
If RE4 featured true analogue control and fast weapon swapping I wonder how much of a difference it would have made to all these scores. They are about the only real complaints (and minor) about the game.
