still waiting for news on Not a Hero ...
Wasn't that dated for Spring at one point? I don't mind it coming out in Oct. or something if it is of decent length and creepy.

Originally supposed to be spring but delayed to an unannounced time because Capcom wants it to 'meet expectations'.

A stand-alone expansion rather than just a straight DLC could be really cool depending on its quality. Hopefully it resurfaces sooner rather than later.
Good stuff! That's apparently what the second DLC is. More of an expansion that's set in a new area and such. Though not stand alone
I'm just glad it lived up to one of the best game reveals of all time.
I just want more of it. I sort of feel like they should have had the 'Banned Footage' DLC as part of the base game to beef up the experience, especially as it's tied closely to the core game narratively, even if it meant charging for the 'Not a Hero' DLC that should be coming.
I think you're going to have a tough time selling any full-price game that's just an 8-10 story mode, regardless of quality. A secondary mode, which has been Mercenaries for Resident Evil games, is a must I think.

I had to stop after that dinner scene, my heart couldn't take the suspense, even with the lights on. Games where I know people are chasing me (like Alien: Isolation) scare the absolute shit out of me ):
I loved the game. Wish it had a raid/mercenaries mode.
It's a shame the final 1/4th of the game sucked so much, because the first 3/4 are better than anything that has been released this year.
No need to mention the enemies other than I did not have the positive reaction to the Bakers and their "stalker" gameplay that others seem to have had. In my opinion, the game again does not have the necessary mechanics to facilitate hiding or evading causing those portions to feel cheap and pace killing. The level design doesn't even seem built for it because so many areas are closed off and the hallways are tiny... If they spot you they move faster then you... you can't look behind you or dodge or peek around corners or throw things to make sounds.... I just.. don't get how people liked those parts of the game.

Yupstill waiting for news on Not a Hero ...
underrated masterpiece, it's the best survival horror game in more than a decade
the most Resident evil game since Resident evil Cod Veronica
too bad when people see videos of the game they will think it's like those shitty cheap horror games like outlast and that kind of trash, but if they play it, they will know how amazing RE7 is, it's a true RE game
but since the sales are low, i don't think RE8 will be like RE7, thanks to the fans of RE6, Resident evil will die again after it's revival with RE7
