Standard meet up times (for whenever you have the opportunity):

Tuesdays 6pm PST

Saturdays 6pm PST

Sundays 6pm PST

Suggestions suggest(!) that creating parties and going into ranked games together would be the preferred thing to do for the meet ups. So no longer do the first one to get online create a room but instead invite everyone to a party. This however makes it very important that you're all a part of the NeoGAF clan (pm kaching with details, make sure you've logged on to Resistance online at least once before) or simply have all folks listed above on your friend list. Again, the first one to get online should start a party and invite the others as they come online.

Also, it has come to my attention that over 20 people have started to show up for these meetups and that means one party is not enough. If that is the case then one of you simply need to create a second party. If you're the party leader (of either) then posting your details in this thread would be helpful.

Also people, it would be a big plus if everyone invested in a headset. For headset details and recommendations, follow this link. Good group play is helped by using your headset to report in changes that occur in the heat of battle. Enemy groups, Snipers, Node status and so forth.

A great addition was made to http://www.myresistance.net on Monday Feb 5th in the form of leaderboards viewable straight from the site. It's time to get famous or die trying.

QFT. IIRC he had both the most the most kills and the least deaths in a TDM round on the rooftops. ~25 kills and one death.

EDIT: I noticed that Wollan's post now contains links to everyone's Resistance stats. Awesome job!!

Not sure if this is the right place, but any word on an "Official" PS3 headset, may just break down and get one on that list if ones not coming.

That 40 player match was so confusing... I didn't even know what hit me when I died. I also saw an enemy Chimera walked into the deep water right after spawning too. There was no one around him and I was some distance away on a different floor.

Must have gotten disoriented from its last action in the previous spawn. :)

I hope everything is ok. I think it's from exiting out of the game while online, sometimes it freezes for some reason.

Did you update your firmware? I updated the firmware on my DLINK DGL_4300 last night to 1.7 and it FUBAR'd my connections. Went back to 1.6 and all is well.

I just got my PS3, much sooner then expected, and bought Resistance with it. I just played the first level but it is a lot of fun so far.

Oh, that's because I always leave my PS3 idle in Resistance MP screen (or in Yellow Dog). I just turn off the monitor.

My PS3 setup is merely 2 feet away from my work laptop. So in theory, I can hop in for a quick game, and back to work again. In practice, I hop in for like half a day/night and have to kick myself for playing too much lately.

ranked competition is getting insanely good. i need to up my skills or something. a lot of these guys know the maps inside and out.

bwaaaahh. My PS3 hates me. My mic goes berserk -> my mic cuts out -> Network Error -> re-pair mic -> mic goes berserk -> mic cuts out. My controller spazzed out on me (which hadn't happened to me since the 1.5 update, so I thought it was done) five times after I reconnected, resulting in a death each time.

Oh well, I still had a ton of fun tonight.

That's what I thought. Didn't figure you would bother to sign on again after getting a network error though.

Sounds like your mic hates you. Or something in your area hates Bluetooth.

Had to do my boyfriend/girlfriend duties tonight, couldn't make it on... But I should be able to game tomorrow night... after the Family Guy and stuff :)

LJ11 and The Jer, You guys are making me blush here... I have my good games and bad... It's pretty impossible to dominate as there's a good amount of talent out there... lots of these guys are crazy at this game... and weird thing I noticed, I always suck worse than a $5 hooker the first couple games, I never played a game where you have to "warm up", lol... Usually I don't get into these types of shooters like Resistance, I'm more of a Socom kinda guy, probably cause I'm better at it than shooters like these...

I should be able to pull a late nighter though tomorrow night, err, tonight if people are gonna go at it (LJ and Spooka, I'm looking at you guys, the graveyard shift)...

Wow Wollan, going all out linking up the stats... nice work...

Click, did you just send a party invite at 3:09am PST ? I'm still up due to jet lag and work, but a GAF invite is the last thing I expect doing one of my early morning "5-minute" Resistance sessions.

Last night was fun. Sorry for being so useless though, 6PM PST is 3AM here, I just came back from drinking, played unitl 6AM, had to sleep, woke up around noon and I was still shit faced.

Ahhh, that's living :lol
