So I cancelled my band-in-a-box pre-order and am going with all of my old instruments with the digital pre-order on Xbox.
My RB2 drum kit works fine, but the red drum pad is missing and is quite loud as a result. Does anyone have any tips on fixing that? Replacement drum pad or a towel or whatever?

I'm considering doing this as well, but I have RB1 drums and they won't work for RB4. If I knew when/if/how much a RB4 drum set would be that might make it easier, but as it stands I'll probably keep the band-in-a-box and get the legacy adapter for my guitars.

I have no access to an XBOX360 anymore. If I were to buy Blitz via PC Market should I be able to download the songs when RB4 launches via XB1?
Or is this not known yet?
Basically, they will look at your purchase history to see which DLC you actually own. So if you purchase it on PC, Xbox, or whatever, you should be fine to redownload it on XB1. (Assuming that song is available.)
EDIT: Though I can't exactly remember if you had to boot up Blitz to do the export or not...

I really hope that they get the classic DLC up the week before game comes up. I'd quite like to actually have time to download stuff before the game is released, rather than having to wait for the game's release and then not being able to make the most of my songs in career mode for ages.
That said, I have to deal with SCEE. Meaning that only 50 of the ~1500 songs will come up, and a third of them will cost money even when owning the PS3 version. That's the amount of faith they have given me in this. I don't even think that the digital pre order is up yet, if it ever will be.

SCEE is why I play all my rhythm games on Xbox, I have no faith in being able to download anything on the PS side

The more i Look at the RBN listing the more I think I might have downloaded a majority of my DLC there instead of the "official" releases
which is a bit bothersome so hopefully they can get the network stuff in

Your best bet is to get GCU at Best Buy, that'd save $50 and cost just $30.
I wish they would just clear that up already. It's not as much of an issue as I'm going X1 to begin with, but it is not fair to people who don't know what version to get now.
I want to play that track asap too, so if I have to wait a month until it becomes available to general public then I'm not too happy about that either.

Low notes are on the big (top) buttons; high notes are on the smaller (lower) buttons. You can ignore the game cues (Blue = top, Orange = bottom) and do anything you want, but the score gameplay requires you use the bottom ones (to not break streaks, get points, etc.).
Great question re the GH5 slider; I'm not actually sure. I will try to found out!

Do you know what time the Rock Band 4 XBox One digital copy will actually unlock and be ready to play? Typically it says on the game page on the XBox online marketplace what time the game will unlock but it doesn't mention it for this game. Some games unlock at 12AM EST while others unlock at 12AM PST. Hopefully this one will be 12AM EST because that's where Harmonix is based right? My plans the night/morning of Tuesday October 6th depend on this answer. Thanks!

I think it's just 12 EST based on the street date as a default, so I don't see why it would be different.

Has there been any word on streaming RB4? Will the licensed music block us from streaming or will it just mean the archives may be pulled down?
There have been a fair amount of Spanish songs, a few German songs, and two Japanese songs (on RBN).
Harmonix has said that there will be server issues for the upcoming weeks due to changes for Rock Band 4. You can always buy songs via the xbox.com website.
You will be able to stream fine, but VODs may have partial audio blocked due to the automatic copyright detector.

Ooooooh yes. Even if delisted songs and RBN songs don't make it over, I'll have over a thousand DLC and export songs to download. Hopefully my Xbone can handle it all.

To be fair, I used to run it at a lot of parties and brought it to work functions w/ my old employer, and after a certain point of buying everything it became "well, I don't want everything BUT this...". That's how I ended up with Miley Cyrus and Nickelback (surprisingly fun on harmonies, though).

I know you can export songs from discs and bought and a complete list may or not exist if it does that would be awesome to have but my biggest question is can i buy these songs on their website store like playstions store site or xbox's site and still have them transfer since i no longer own a 360 or PS3. I already have a bunch of songs i bought from RB/RB2 on 360 so i will probably stick with the bone.

Played Hysteria in RB4 at PAX, so it is transferable.
It is DLC. If you bought it, it should transfer.
