Congratulations, you're proven that everyone has songs they'd rather see on Rock Band by irritating every single other person in this thread.

I am a fan of a a lot of the DLC, they put up, but I guess I am just pissed with yet another band I have never heard of. To make it worse it's getting all too common now with many of HMX's DLC.

Also, how am I supposed to get hyped when we go from THIS

... to something that reminds me of THIS

"I am Robin of Locksley. "

heh... I admit I am not the most unbiased debater on this topic. The very first tapes I ever purchased on my own in 1987 at the influential age of 12 were Peace Sells and Master of Puppets.... what can I say..? :P

Neither am I, the first time I heard metal was my uncle playing So Far, So Good, So What? when I was around 7 or so. Plus, I'm drinking Dave Mustaine's coffee brew right now. Although overall I prefer Rust In Peace (one of my top 5 favorite albums of all time) I'm not complaining about Peace Sells. I just know I'll never get more than 15 seconds into Devil's Island :D

"Locksley will be MTV's Artist of the Week beginning the week of September 8th."

So thats why.

no substantive comment on the band, but in general the tie-ins with rb, be they mtv or movies (in particular) are pretty terrible. just give us good music pls.

Foo Fighters (The Colour and the Shape) Fuck yeah
Red Hot Chili Peppers (Blood Sugar Sex Magik) YES YES YES
No Doubt Best Of collection Nice. I want.
Jane's Addiction (Nothing's Shocking) Not a bad choice.
Stevie Ray Vaughn (Texas Flood) Eh.
Megadeth (Peace Sells... But Who's Buying) Garbage.

In your opinion.

Normally this is just one of the DLC packs that I'd just skip and pay no attention to, but it's so much worse after expecting to play Moving Pictures.

Yeah, I feel bad about saying Dave's taste wasn't good...

Jesus.

I get too much shit for my "taste". I troll Nirvana, thats about it. Everything else is game suitability!

I did just get bored three tracks in to Nothing's Shocking though, in case you want justification.

"Symphony of Destruction" is the only Megadeth I every liked.

"Hanger18" was stupid and pointless in GHII. Hated playing it

"Peace Sells" should be great in RB, but I dont know about the rest of the album.

PS: FUCK Locksley

Does Harmonix release like the best selling dlc of the week/month?

also has this Locksley thing been released yet? are they waiting for tomorows dlc announcement cause thats dlc sent to die.

Hmm. Ocean Size is the second song. Maybe your music-ometer needs servicing.

You know constanza... I try to understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. but at what point does someone who has proven again and again to have bad taste just finally become wrong?

:lol :lol

Sorry, but mine and your preferences couldn't be any further from each other short of actively and passionately disliking each other's tastes on purpose.

Costanza's fucking awful taste and half arsed trolling continues to amaze.
in his defense, it's not like he is actually trolling.. but yeah.. his taste in music is about as bad as my wife's... her musical culture and apptitude is determined by one of the many Clear Channel (or similar knock off) Top 40 stations in the area.

It just ain't my scene, man...

That's cool. I have a special place in my heart for this record -- it came just as I was jumping out of thrash and discovering 'alt.' I guess I have RIP magazine to thank they were really pushing Janes back then.

:lol

Harsh!

Perhaps trolling wasn't the most appropriate word, but to slate an entire genre wether you're a fan or not is just plain ignorant especially if you don't even bother to listen to the music before making any criticism.

Costanza's favorite band is Weezer. That wouldn't be too bad if the Blue album was the only thing they put out, but their recent shit is terrible.

Dave, I think you'd like Nothing's Shocking if you give it some time. The vocals are kind of all over the place like the Pixies.

I only post fake PR's when Rush gets replaced with something called Locksley... so no more from me.

At least it shows HMX could make much better choices with DLC....

SORRY ALL

1: Dick move.

2: DAVE GROHL, ALL OVER MY FACE.

ROCK AND GROHL!

I think I came :(

Also; the new intro is weird, like Mad Max with bands AND cars. On the fence, yet care little as... you know, it's the intro.

Oh dear, I've bought 3 Weezer albums in the last few weeks, I hope this isn't the beginning of some Costanza like transformation.

You're fine, as long as you don't start going into OT and making girl-age threads with epic backfire.

I'm gonna defend Costanza on the principle that Megadeth is shit and knock-off Metallica (who has been shit for almost twenty years).

Though, Costanza, if you can honestly tell me you like any other Weezer album after Pinkerton, I might just have to rescind this defense. >:|

Make Believe is their only bad album.

I can't bear anything post Pinkerton.

As far as Megadeth:

I haven't heard anything past Rust in Peace (which was middling in my mind).

I think So Far So Good So What was the first tape I ever bought with the PMRC label on it.
