I hope they throw a curve ball and throw out Dream Theaters - Pull Me Under.

Please Harmonix say you got that along with Neversoft.

or a Power Ballads 6-pack

Power Ballads
Don't Stop Believin' - Journey
Love Is On the Way - Saigon Kick
Don't Know What You Got - Cinderella
Sweet Child O' Mine - GnR (switched out with Patience as I don't think that has any drums)
Ballad of Jane - LA Guns
Every Rose Has Its Thorn - Poison

The Offspring pack most likely. The Madden CD finally releasing as well. My guess anyways
Madden tracks might be good. It seems promo stuff like that is discounted and I can handle that. (After buying yesterday's 6-pack for $12)

I know its going to be in GHWT.

But I want Ted Nugent - Stranglehold.

Like really bad. I don't even care for the rest of the nuge's stuff, just Stranglehold. Good on all instruments. I would pay double points for it.

Since they put in Sleater-Kinney it definetly feels like we're getting closer to some Pavement tracks. Less and less great 90's indie groups to go for. It just peevs me that they go for songs that have the word Rock (or whatever) in the title or mention bands or instruments in them more than anything. Maybe that means Range Life is a candidate (because of the STP and Pumpkin mentions).:D

Stereo talks about Geddy Lee. PERFECT FOLLOW UP.

Since it's All Request Friday, I'll toss in what I want.

Metallica. Prove to us that the Guitar Hero deal didn't affect your "plans"!

It does lack a solo. But lets take what we can get.

Who needs solos when you have:

I want the entire Black Holes and Revelations album. I think it would be the most fun to play out of all of Muse's albums.
Showbiz says "hi". Muscle Museum would be terrrrific. That's right. It's so amazing it needs four r's.

Isn't it the country shit week next week ?
First off, it ain't shit. Second off, we don't know when it's coming out.

We need more metal. Specifically:

I wish GH Metallica would be announced already so we'd know if they're exclusive or not.

HMX should just release One and Fuel already.

Damn fed ex punks shipped my drum rocker order to some random place in Canada instead of York university. Now the earliest it can come is on Monday.... I was really hoping for its arrival today :(

GH:Metallica is 100% certain.

I know that, but I'm waiting for the completely official full-blown announcement with screenshots, trailer, and PR. With Activision at least, if Metallica is indeed exclusive, we'll know about it.

You're right. Calling it shit is an insult to actual shit.

A GH: Metallica deal won't make Metallica completely exclusive until Harmonix finishes releasing the stuff they already signed deals for. If you were to believe them, (I don't. Liars all.) they have a full album plus a lot more.

Seems like the only safe way for Activision. I'll bet £2. I'm sure it'd just be a timed deal though.

Fixed because it's not more heavy rock/metal crap.

I wish you were in charge of DLC.

The thing with "Pull Me Under" is that anyone who has even HEARD of Dream Theater is sick of that song. I know it's their one pseudo-hit, but man.

I can think of a few good choices off "Awake".

2 EST, so 15 minutes.

and while I want more DT, I don't think it should be Pull me Under.. it's pretty boring to play IMO. at least half of it. I'd rather have Under a Glass Moon or Metropolis pt 1 if it's from that album.

I'm really hoping for a tool 6 pack :)

frankly you really just described 80-90% of ALL of the track selections in these rhythm games. the point is that even though we've heard these songs TO DEATH, they are still well known, potentially have tracks that would make great charts, and are STILL preferable to modern songs that have already been chosen with significantly worse potential (or actual) charts due to lack of complexity.

Just saying... is Pull Me Under and more or less grating that Anyway You Want It or Man In the Box?

The difference is that the latter two songs are objectively two of the best put out by that artist.

With Dream Theater, "Pull Me Under" actually kind of sucks compared to their other stuff. However, I'm not saying I don't *want* it on Rock Band, just that there are better choices.

Whatever gets more people interested in and buying Dream Theater albums is ok by me!
