If I uncap, will that make any saved files I have SUPER huge? In other words, are there any downsides to doing this?

What saved files? You mean like recordings? I assume those record at a constant bitrate independent of your framerate. I don't see how this could affect your actual save data for progression in any way. As far as I can tell there are no downsides. Been playing with it for a couple days.

Some people will prefer to keep it capped at 60 fps because a fluctuating framerate bothers them. I find it is not a problem at all as long as the minimum stays over say 80-90 fps. Just turn settings down until you are in the 90-100 range if you have to I guess. Obviously you will need a high Hz monitor.

Strangely, it really looks like the new map doesn't have walls lol.

I wonder if it's curved in a way that forces you towards the center of the map, but has boundaries for the ball

I think it's Steam players whose name bugged for some reason. It's weird, but not anything to worry about.

About the new song, I wonder if it will be available for purchase... Gotta keep that OST up to date!

So i downloaded this game back when it was first announced and never got around to playing it until yesterday. Hot damn it's fun. I rarely smile and laugh while playing games but I was having fun. Just played about 4 games of my season getting use to controls but I wonder if it can take out the hooks Destiny has in me. Great game.

A non-issue when actually playing I bet. I am never bothered by the boost lines as they are very limited use, tiny in a game with 110 FOV and on a huge playing field.

There's already some dude on Twitter bitching about this dlc for his free game, proclaiming this is an unfinished game because any post release content should be free, otherwise it means psyonix tried to hoodwink us with an unfinished product. Pick your battles, Wolf of walgreens. This is hardly a deserving target.

Not the cosmetic stuff (decals, cars, rims, etc.), which I believe was announced a while ago. The maps are free so they don't split the user base.

What do you guys think of Rocket League becoming a big e-sports game? I still don't see it on Twitch as a Top Channel, but it's way more fun watching good Rocket League then good hearthstone players IMO.

If they keep adding and tuning to Rocket league, I think it might grow a pretty long tail.

As long as they keep updating it in the structure of other esports like Dota and LoL, with updates to features and not shoot for a sequel, then I see it gaining traction as they add things like actual leagues and seasons and other features as time progresses.
