Unless that includes 20 minutes of 80s rock, I'm not sure I'm down. Just bought all the Rocky movies on Blu-ray to watch with the fam. Maybe Ill time it to see IV in theaters if the reviews are good.

I love all original four Rocky movies individually, but this one absolutely has the best final fight.

The "Throw the damn towel" scene gets me every time. Can't wait for this.

What’s the extra 40 mins ? Training montage. Just the Vince dicola theme solo for all forty mins. - Drago and Rocky training , homo erotic overload

Did they shoot anymore? I want it to end on a Rocky 3 esque squaring off of the two of them.

I'm curious if this is just extended scenes already in the movie, or if there were some ridiculous sideplots totally cleaned from the theatrical cut. Like comical russian gangsters trying to get Drago to throw the fight, Rocky considering using a CIA supplied performance enhancing drug, or something like that. Maybe Stallone and Nielsen bang while Drago sits in the corner like the commie cuck he is? :p

I'm seriously considering taking my 8 year old to this, telling him that it is the Venom vs Carnage film and the symbiotes will spring out while they are boxing. Then fingers crossed he'll get sucked into the film like I was and not care that there is no CGI nonsense, just actual real physical stunts and fight choreography.

For anyone watching at home, crank up that subwoofer. Each punch needs to shake the house!

Did Adrian go with Rocky to the cabin to train? I don't remember that in the original.

Do it, every kid should see this movie.

Always thought this was a bizarrely magical and amazing 20 seconds. I can't quite explain the feels it produces. Sound required.

Man 40 extra minutes for a 90min movie is a hell of a lot. This could be really interesting.

Also i swear some of the fight scenes in this trailer are using different viewpoints and angles from the orig film.

Definitely interested in it. When I re-watched Rocky 4 a few years back, the movie had so little dialogue, I felt like I just watched a music video basically.
I mean, running time was about 90 min - and at least good 20+ minutes being music video. James Brown performance being one, and that back-to-back russian training, and also some of the flashbacks when he's thinking - cuts from the previous movies.

Out of 40 min, if they added at least 30 min of more actual dialogues and drama, I would be very happy. :)
