:lol wtf happened in the 4th set?

The 3rd and 4th set has a very WTA-like scoreline. The 5th will obviously be won 6-0.

Here's hoping for an epic 5th set but i think Federer turned on the god mode switch after the break. I hope Del Potro can do well.

I think you're right..

edit: maybe I spoke too soon!

edit2: or not...

Federer has been putting consistent pressue on JDP's serve since about half way through the 4th set. This shit is probably done.

Ugh, this is how I thought/feared the match would go from the start. Del Potro has a chance if he can start the 5th with a hold, but if not, I think he's done.

If Federer wants to win, he's gonna have to hit a zillion drop shots so he can get tall ass Del Potro to the net more often so he can pass him.

I coach Federer on the weekends.

I get back from Home Depot and Wal-Mart and 2 sets go by? WTF? 6-2 Delpo? 6-1 Fed? Weird, and now Fed up a break in the 5th. It's funny, we get glimpses every once in a great while of the old Fed, maybe for a set or two but never for a full match anymore.

Oh, and to those wondering why the crowd is so pro Fed, I think they realize what this accomplishment really means if he wins the tournament, and most people that have been watching pro tennis for a long time also know that someone like Federer is a once in a generation player at best. It's good that the French crowd is showing an appreciation for that.

del Potro seemed tired in the 4th set, but not so much anymore. Running like he's fresh out the shower. Some great tennis to and fro now.

I wish the commentators would get their head out of Fed's arse. He is brilliant in flashes and is akin to his old self at times, but not too much more than that. They would have us believe that Fed will destroy Del Potro in the final set, but it isn't as simple as that. I want him to win, but Jeez, get back down to Earth.

Federer is so predictable: short slice, backhand pass. But his opponents are predictable and they keep hitting to his backhand whenever he does that.
