Congrats Fed!!!

Too bad Söderling didn't seem to be in it.

Kinda glad I had to listen to that first set on the radio :lol

Also, just to sound a little bitter, F U all Söderling haters, he may not showed up in the first set but he gave him a run in the last two and he clearly deserved to be in the final beating Nadal, Ferrer, Davydenko and Gonzales

Suckas said he should retire, but he's taken two of the last three grand slams ; ) Just focuses his energy on the big moments after becoming and old daddy (literally).

Good for federer!

Well, to bad for Söderling but I am pleased enough with how he has played in this tournament. Looking forward to watching his performance in future ones.

Now's not the time. Be gone!

His stats show a positive leaning on the winners / unforced ratio, so he should not be ashamed of his effort.

He ran out of gas by the time he played Federer, imo. He definitely has shown he's not a fluke. He legitimately got to the final and beat some great players along the way. I see him becoming a major player now.

Is it wrong for me to want to be held in his wife's soft arms?

Hahahahahahababa!!! I DID IT!!! I'm the biggest sports jinx of all time. Federer's rapid decline started when I was cheering for him. I totally avoided the US Open last year and openly supported every other player in this tournament. (this is after watching this years Aussie).

Mission accomplished!!!

That TV dinner tray is the worst runner-up trophy ever
He could use it to eat Nadal's racket.

BAM! Did I just troll Nadal, well I think I did.

great speech by both Federer and Söderling.

Yeah, Federer just cemented himself as the GOAT, even if he only just tied Sampras. Everything from here on out is just icing on the cake. It'll be interesting to see how much icing there will be.

Even if he doesn't win another grand slam, he is better than Sampras. Sampras has never even come close to winning the French Open. He made it to the semi's once.

That's what I was implying. Actually, I didn't even imply it. I said it. Maybe I should've added "in total GS wins" after "tied Sampras".

Depending on how bad this unknown Nadal injury is will be the determining factor in Fed-icing.

I mean shit...if guys like Murray and Jokavich keep proving that they won't step it up....dude can get to fucking twenty. I mean, thats assuming a GREAT ending to his career but between just the aussi, us, and wimby...if Nadal's playstyle has really worn him down, who can say?

More realistically? 18. And the difference between them is only 2 trophies...

Edit : Thinking on it, 20 sounds crazy but still, I see no reason not to pick him for at least the US open and he's still going to be dangerous everywhere else.
