Sorry MIMIC and Faith. Guess he's just destined to blow it against Nadal at the French.

nadal: "i would like to thank djokovic's parents for that one passionate night that resulted in his birth. they are amazing parents and i wish them all the best. furthermore, i would like to thank his girlfriend. i don't know what she looks like, but she is so beautiful, and she, too, is part of his fantastic team. i would also like to thank the city of paris. i was saddened with its destruction in edge of tomorrow. i would also like to thank england for hosting the wimbledon tournament in a few weeks. i would also like to thank the poor children of bangladesh who made my shoes and shirt. i would also like to thank your mum because i love her. and i want to thank you because without you there would be no me and if there would be no me then there would be no roland garros winner so thank you me."

Is it? He comes back to this Open full strength every single year. His health is not dubious at all.
He gets injured a lot, but takes special care leading to the French Open.

You can't guarantee that, though.

It's preposterous to try.

His health has been dubious since 2009.
If Novak 2.0 didn't happen, nobody would be saying this.
Yeah, it's pretty simple that that two-year run by Djokovic was one of the best runs ever, and he was simply the best all-around player in the game at the time.

Will remember this match for Djokovic's sarcastic thumbs up to the crowd at the end. Not because of the general quality of the play - although Nadal's level gradually rose across the match until he was frequently opening up Djokovic with devastating trademark down-the-line forehands and cross-court backhands, he never reached the extreme consistency that he did in earlier rounds, and in the early going was simply poor by his standards. Djokovic could have had this match if his intensity didn't drift after the first set - at times his angry outbursts reminded me of his pre-2011 self.

Hope Nadal's back injury isn't serious and he can play competitively at Wimbledon this year.
