Some Review tidbits:

ROTTEN
Practically a remake of the first movie!
ROTTEN
Is there anything in this for anyone other than a zit-faced video gamer? No.
ROTTEN
There is nothing - nothing - in Bay's film that can be taken seriously - although that becomes something of a problem in itself, given Bay's relentless exploitation of imagery from 9/11 and the Second Gulf War...
FRESH
It is a sprawlingly noisy adventure epic that entertains at times, but never really manages to engage. Still, the kids will love it!
FRESH
My advice is to switch off your brainpower, get in touch with your inner juvenile self and go with the flow for this feast for the senses, orchestrated by the undoubted maestro of the genre Michael Bay.
FRESH
A super-sized second helping, but the novelty factor and some of the charm’s gone. Hey, at least there’s more Megatron / Starscream squabbling this time round.

IMAX/Regular Screenings start this tuesday at Midnight

One thing to keep in mind is that the first Transformers is at 57%.

Sweet! Transformers 2! Gonna be so awesome in IMAX!

I dont think reviews are even necessary

Its a Michael Bay movie. You should know what you are going to get :D

With machines that are impressively more lifelike, and characters that are more and more like machines, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen takes the franchise to a vastly superior level of artificial intelligence.
:lol That's from a positive review.

Actually I did. Not my fault even the positive reviews sound negative.

Nope. You didn't. You quoted one and left all the other positive quotes out to serve your agenda. :lol

Old folks may find the relentless sensory assault a little draining, but the bangs, ’bots and bombast ensure Fallen has everything Transformers fans will want and expect.

It was clearly the director's intention to paint Revenge of the Fallen on an epic canvas. It's more of the same - a lot more.

You and I both know why you didn't post these ones up there.

I loved the first movie, but everything they've shown of this movie feels like a by the numbers video game sequel. MORE ROBOTS! MORE ACTION! MORE!

I'm waiting for them to announce it also has a 24 player multiplayer mode

SOLD! Honesly, what did you want them to do? Optimus Prime romance?

Agenda? Jeez, this is serious.

TRANSFORMERS DEFENSE FORCE. ASSEMBLE!

I find reviews largely meaningless anyway, but with movies like this they deserve to be pretty much thrown out the window. People who loved the first movie will undoubtedly enjoy this one, people who hated the first movie will undoubtedly find things to bitch about.

Going to see it Wednesday and I'm sure I'll enjoy every minute of it barring some insane screw-up job.

Wow Sherlock, why don't you just go solve a fucking mystery? Yes.. my anti-Transformers agenda of creating the official thread. Just like my anti-360 agenda you exposed me on earlier. I fixed the OP so I someone similarly dim-witted as yourself won't get confused.

There is no Transformers Defense Force. Just an entire board who decided to hate a movie and every person who enjoy it.

Right where it should be.

I'll still be watching this though. I'm not a fan of the first but I'm a huge sucker for giant transforming robots.

I haven't even seen the first movie, but will watch this one for IMAX.

First IMAX theater in Japan! (Technically the 3rd time for IMAX to enter the market)

What a pompous pretentious presumptuous twat. Seriously....I'm starting to feel Bay's frustration when it comes to film critics and Transformers.

Actually, that would fix most of my issues with the first movie. :lol

I enjoyed the first movie a lot, I could definitely go for another 2 1/2 hours of Megan Fox and robots.

The funny thing is that if anything, it's exactly who the movie is NOT for because they'll be the ones who complain how it doesn't live up to their nostalgic memories of the cartoon.

Seeing this tomorrow. I actually enjoyed the first one (or at least the scenes in which the actors kept their mouths shut), but I suspect this is because I was just a casual fan of the show as a kid and not a diehard OMG TRANSFORMERS fan.

Wasn't aware it needed anything more!

Transformers sequel + Bad Boys 2 formula = Perfect recipe for a great time at the movies :D

If you have an IMAX theatre in your area, GO SEE IT THERE.

Certain scenes were actually shot with IMAX film and this is only the 2nd feature film to do this after The Dark Knight. The IMAX shots will blow your mind, guaranteed.

At this point it doesn't matter if all the reviews were negative and it was at 0%. This will be the highest grossing film this year.

Hey Hollywood fucko's,

How about you send my dumbass village of a town movies like Moon and skip on the bullshit like this and Twilight.

Sincerely,

Fans of Film That Don't Want to live in Sanctimonious Hollywood or Violent Guido Moronville New York.

Reviews don't matter for this movie. Everyone knows what's they're getting with this, and I for one will surrender to the awesome :D

Is there anything in this for anyone other than a zit-faced video gamer? No.

This is the bullshit that passes as reviews? Bitter reviewers clinging onto old stereotypes that have not been relevant for a decade?

There is nothing - nothing - in Bay's film that can be taken seriously - although that becomes something of a problem in itself, given Bay's relentless exploitation of imagery from 9/11 and the Second Gulf War...

Are you kidding me? Bay practically invented the imagery from 9/11 and Al-Qaeda ripped him off.

Okay so

I saw it last night in IMAX here in Japan. It is really odd to be ahead of the rest of the world as far as movies are concerned. I don't think this has ever happened.

Spoilers down here, ESPECIALLY THE LAST PART. That part will basically be unforgivable to anyone who has liked anything Transformers in their life.

Was exactly what I thought it would be. Had some really entertaining action scenes which are actually better than the first one. But in the end it is the SAME SHIT. Including 20 seconds of lovey dovey talk between Shia and Fox as the camera spins around them facing the sun, Marines vs. decepticons half the time, stupid slapstick characters in abundance(at least 5), and Bay questionable camera work which some will love in parts.

And this is the big one.

The main villian of the film isn't really Megatron. He is actually a lackey to his mentor THE FALLEN. And yes he is 100% loyal with basically no trace of treachery toward this FALLEN guy.

B:(

Shiiiit...I know it will be mixed like the first or possibly even lower, but I just don't give a damn!

I'm so hyped for this movie, I'll beat all your mothers just for a chance to see it on IMAX.
