I will laugh hard if Rock doesn't come out and this was a convenient way to sell subs. "Hey, Rock just said he was in Philli. Noone said he'd be in the Rumble".

I got #6? Ain't nobody won from #6. I know Roman (I'm being nice and not calling him Superoman even though stro is gone and can't bitch about it), D.Brine and Orton won't be #6.

I'll probably wind up with either Kofi or The Miz.

On the bright side, I'm in contention to have the first guy eliminated in both the Avatar and Rumble Lottery draws in the same year.
That may well be unprecedented. So yeah, I hope #6 gets thrown out first.

Anyone complaining about them spoiling Rock's appearance (and possible win) is looking at it wrong. The amount of buys and/or Network subs that will be sold by the leak is infinitely more valuable than the shock factor of a surprise. Hell, if anything they should have announced weeks ago that he would be there.

Exactly, doing it now is just half-arsed. At this point may as well surprise or announce it ages ago.

Honestly wouldn't even be staying up for this if it wasn't for the crowd. No matter who wins, a Philly crowd has the most potential to let me down tonight :(

they should have been promoting the rock's return at the royal rumble for MONTHS if this was the plan all along

it probably just happened today or yesterday. vince tore up the script and re-wrote it with rock winning the rumble.
