What you need to notice. None of those people popped a 3.5 rating, pushing the first hour of RAW over five million viewers for the first time in months, not years.

Let's see what happens tomorrow. I bet ratings will be back to normal. Then what? Batista may be a draw his night back, but is he someone that'll continue pushing those numbers? I don't think so.

Excuse me, but who do they think they are going to be selling the network to? Isn't THAT the Daniel Bryan loving crowd they like to shit on?

It doesn't matter. If you watch two PPV's a year, which the hardcore do, it makes sense to buy the network instead of paying $55/month for PPV's. What people don't realize is The Network makes it even easier for Vince to ignore the fans month to month, since they know people are going to buy the network anyway.

How can he get away with public comments like that? No matter how right he is, "they" implies a huge amount of disrespect is does him absolutely no favors. I respect him for having the balls to say what everyone is obviously thinking, but there's got to be a better way. It makes no business sense at all, unless.....this is just a work.

As opposed to what? Keeping his mouth shut and try to carry Sheamus at the opening match at Mania? I think it's all a work anyway, but if it isn't I don't think Bryan cares either way anymore

They think they can sell the Network to people who want to REWATCH the Attitude era.
And to cheer for the New Age Outlaws as champs now that they're pushing 50.

I swear to god at least when the rock bothers to come back and get's a push he's a massive draw at least. No one gives a fuck about Batista outside of the WWE.

I'm sure they have lots of marky mark crowds lined up from now until WM XXX to avoid just that kind of response.

I'm so detached from the product now, that looking in on the nonsense just makes me laugh. It's absurd.

Based NJPW keeping my fire burning though.

:( that sounds about right. I stopped watching when I realized Bryan wasn't going to get the push he deserves despite every crowd mark or not going apeshit for him. Was going to start watching with the Network but damn I don't want to support the product if they just continually push people no one wants to see. They already fucked up with Punk and now they're fucking up Bryan.

It's part of the angle. Bryan not being in the Rumble was part of the angle. You're being worked, smart marks.

What's the payoff to this angle? Bryan eventually winning the belt at some B show PPV? The guy deserves a Wrestlemania moment.

The shitty part is they could have made two stars tonight by having Bryan and Reigns as the final two in the Rumble. Instead we get another part time champ in the making.

I can't wait for old Vince to keel over. Hopefully in a hellfire of a car crash. With HHH and his wife with him. They are the biggest poison ruining Pro Wrestling at this point, and nothing will ever change until all of them are gone.

Audience and the fans HATE your 'top' guys, and boo them constantly at PPVs? Chant the names of guys that aren't giant roid machines? Trend the names of actually talented wrestlers on twitter? Ignore them all, push the same shit to the top!

WWE wants to cram pretty boys like roman reigns (he's good but doesn't deserve it yet as much as bryan) or old retired wrestlers who are just given spots...if this keeps happening they will demoralize guys who are grinding to be on top and feel like its worthless because spots will just be given away
At least with Reigns, it makes sense. He's full-time, young, good looking, and is exciting in a Goldberg kind of way in the ring. He's gonna be HUGE when he learns how to work the mic a bit better (although I think he might be off to Hollywood with the Rock soon enough).

And at least the Rock was the second biggest name of the AE and the biggest movie star on the planet right now. Batista doesn't move the needle like the Rock or Lesnar do, so why bother?

I'd like to think this is all a long term thing, as YESmovement is definitely a company thing, but WWE is getting dangerously close to alienating fans into not buying or watching. You can only have so many PPVs ending with fans legitimately pissed before it catches up to you.

That is the big danger here. They are obviously trying to make more outrage so they get more events like the Michigan State thing and other viral yes chants.

The thing is sooner or later people will stop caring... which means they completely wasted Bryan's popularity. Or they'll just use it to build up Cena more...because that is what they do with anybody who shows any popularity.

But lets just wait and see where this is going.

SoulPlaya, I will not admit Kane is in shape until you acknowledge Reigns beating Kane's record.
I acknowledge it. It happened. I just wish they let it happen organically. The announcers going on about it made it far too predictable, and the eliminations happened too quickly. Reigns should have entered the match early, and gradually built up to it. That would have helped.

I'm not too familiar with what's going on in the WWE nowadays, but if they're complaining on Twitter, I think it's pretty safe to say it's a work.

Bryan is going to get tasered at Wrestlemania.

Dayum, I have a feeling he's not playing a character with these tweets, but responding to the reality that their audience wants Bryan and the company doesn't want to push him.

Remember all of the "hurdles" he was given last year? All of which seemed worth it to push him for the Rumble? Where the fuck is he going now?

I paused the Rumble match to talk some Kendrick Lamar with some people so I'm like 10 minutes behind... but damn Roman Reigns is solid. Cesaro needs a push. Dean Ambrose will have a great career on his own. Sunny is excited.

Again, in this company Ambrose won't get anywhere. He'll probably end up getting beat week in and week out by Shemaus.

You know what? I just realized this no Bryan in the Rumble uproar is us getting worked. This is the setup for HHH vs Bryan at Mania, I guess.

It's definitely the IWC getting worked though, it's being done on purpose and we're all reacting exactly like they want.

I wonder if Vince really does flip out when he hears the last 20 minutes of his PPV being filled with Daniel Bryan chants and boos or if he just thinks to himself, "Well what else are they going to do? Watch TNA?"

You guys haven't learned. They botched Punk's rise (even though he's over as fuck), they're not going to do anything with Bryan.

Same old.

Poor Rey, it would have had to been fucking Steve Austin to not get shitted on for being #30 when people wanted Bryan.

Yup Austin would be the only one who would not get shitted on.. Rock would if he had not come back 3 years ago...

Maybe Sting at 30 could have kept the crowd sane.

Fuck that. I'm done. I don't fucking care. I wish bryan the best but I can't support the WWE when there so many other companies that do things better. Is it so hard to give me Orton vs. Bryan instead of Triple H's and his shitty friends?

I don't care what program they try to put Bryan in for Wrestlemania. Nothing would've been more perfect than him winning the rumble from the #30 spot and finally going over Randy Orton clean to finish off Wrestlemania. That crowd would be bonkers, on Austin levels.

Pirating all PPVs til D Bry gets a title shot. Not getting WWE Network til then. Booing the main event at mania will be fun. Booing everyone, but Daniel Bryan at Raw after mania will be fun.

Gutted that Tista won...was hoping for Bryan or Brock.

I can't wait for old Vince to keel over. Hopefully in a hellfire of a car crash. With HHH and his wife with him. They are the biggest poison ruining Pro Wrestling at this point, and nothing will ever change until all of them are gone.

Dude. What is wrong with you?

I'm with you. At this point I take enjoyment out of fans falling for it time after time. lol

How do people still get surprised enough to be disappointed? WWE has been terrible for at least a decade now.

Its not even bad. This isn;'t even the worse WWE has been those Cena championship years were worse. Every RAW has at least one good to great wrestling match. This PPV had an amazing wrestling match.

What did you guys expect? It's WWE. They will always shit on your face and not give a fuck. You guys keep coming back for more. Now we got Cena to give Bray the "rub" aka burial. How many Raws before he calls him Husky Harris? I'd guess tomorrow night.

Right now I think I'm just upset because it was a good show outside of that abhorrent ending. The first match was first class, it was Bray's first big singles match and his first chance to prove himself and he fucking well did. Bryan obviously called the shots in regards to the matches pace whilst Bray pulled it out of the bag by wrestling in character. They pulled off new spots like the curb stomp, the apron armbreaker, and the apron tornado DDT. Then Bray got the win off of an utterly ridiculous counter. The match was great by any standards. Brian did what people expected him to do and Bray proved himself when he needed to.

The Show/Lesner match was a wash. But after the match Lesner established himself as a dangerous motherfucker. Not only would he annihilate you through dubious means before the match but he's beat the shit out of you if you attempted to recover after that in the post.

Orton/Cena was shit but the crowd made it.

The rumble itself was probably the best done rumble I can think of. Nobody outside of joke entrants were eliminated quickly. Those that weren't big time players got to establish themselves from Kofi's stupid antics to Cesaro swings. Tag teams like the Rhodes and the Shield eliminated each other in tense moments. Then the fucking ending came. Somebody nobody cares about cementing themselves in the Wrestlemania main event despite doing nothing to deserve it to a chorus of boos. I can't comprehend why they'd do this shit and that one moment ruined the whole show for me.

Wrestlemania

Punk vs Kane
Daniel Bryan vs Triple H
Undertaker vs Roman Reigns
Orton vs Batista
Bray Wyatt vs ?

The reality is

Brock Lesnar vs Undertaker
Bray Wyatt vs John Cena
CM Punk vs HHH
Randy Orton vs Batista
Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus (unless HBK saves the day)

This year's WrestleMania sounds like crap.

Im kind of interested on how WWE will react to the last 20min of this PPV. Tommorow night will be very interesting, and the crowd tomorrow will also play a huge role.
