I feel bad for the Samoa, Scotland being the pragmatic team in this game. Samoa practically lost it due to their huge indiscipline. As I really hate the maul in the present day rugby, I don't really like that Scotland is the team that goes through from this group.

I think both Wales and Australia will have a field day with the Scottish defence if they play like today.

Scotland got a bit lucky, missing those penalty chances didn't come back to haunt them. Samoa just needed a bit more discipline and they could have won it.

My feelings were with Japan through the game though, the set up of the tournament has been so unfair to them and more deserving to go through, assuming they beat USA.

Probably but it will be a more conventional game. The Samoans barely kicked the ball or tried to play a territory game. Too much pressure for Matt Scott today and Bennett wasn't at the racces either. Perhaps Peter Horn will be pushing for a starting place.

Hopefully Wales can pull it out and lose another 5 players and we can steamroll over a team of walking wounded.
