Daft console wars aside, what does the 30/60 FPS interpolation mean?

Is it going to upscale old games to 60?
 
About as true as the talk Navi was developed for Sony. I.E, most probably not true.

That said, I think AMD having MS as a technology partner has been absolutely beneficial for their GPU development, but it's not like AMD are developing these exclusively for them. Same goes for Sony.

But yeah, I have a hard time believing this rumor. If it's fake then I think it'll just reaffirm what many are already thinking. If it's true, I'm setting up a sea of bunkers because shit's gonna get r o u g h.

Always the same, every generation. Spend a load of money on hype, spin and timed exclusives or money hats in the first year or two and then.... Nothing for years except forza and gears.
 
Isn't ia for npc something that is totally created by devs? How is a new gpu architecture gonna help with that?

I he Bluepoint acquisition is something that doesn't make much sense. They spend almost no time on Xbox stuff and their value would be deeply degraded learning a new system.

Seems pretty darn unlikely to me but what do I know

It's nothing, years ago I started a petition to remove Lucy O'brien from reviewing playstation games at IGN.
I was also heavily involved in the petition against that Washington Post Uncharted 4 review.
I was always involved with PlayStation Twitter wars with PS Legion, Jay tech, dobby and all those guys.
I've actually mellowed a lot.

Well, with Kojima turning out to just be Kojima trolling about Death Stranding PC I think it's safe to say that there will not be a PS5 reveal in the next few days. So AMD will start talking about raytracing before Sony ever announces PS5, how about that?

Erm, Azure Raytracing? Is that a thing?

All I've heard of is software and hardware based raytracing...never cloud based raytracing. Is this even possible?

Nope. Not possible.
RT is heavily latency limited that's why even offline CGI renders are never distributed (intra-frame).

Hmm, you continue to be wrong. This is from AMD at last E3. Seems like their local hardware raytracing solution is very limited and only a stopgap for the cloud based real solution.

This is not their only solution.

They will have a full hardware solution, and this is just another option they can see it going. This pic lacks that context.

They can mean a lot of things.
Like all the pre-baked stuff you see in MSFT flight sim.
But in the end it's not really RT. Just a bunch of helpers.

small games, like forza horizon, halo infinite, and also 3rd party pubs put their small games like kingdom hearts III and Final Fantasy XV. All small games with low budget. Right?

Yep. Looks that way. I used to believe the leaks from the insiders that said PS5 is 10+ TF. Then I realized they know as much as everyone else does on the outside.

Edit: Some people were expecting all of those cool features for features for the PS5. They will indeed come with the hardware...of XBSX. Hahahahaha!

If AMD did anything like that, they would destroy their relationship with Sony. No company should depend on just one large customer....
